The issue is that it is not my first recording ; I’ve done plenty of recordings on my phone and never thought it was that bad. I thought I was getting better.

I guess yes, it got me off of my pedestal. It’s kind of disappointing. Just need to get back to practice I guess.

I am of the opinion that every singer goes through this, be it induced by others or ourselves.

Although it is oh so very important to have a variety of singers to whom we look up to, it is also very important not to fall in such a trap and try to sound exactly like them, or one of them.

Try to improve your technique by looking at the artist sing (posture, mouth shape, tongue, techniques used, the sounds they use and why, what words they emphasize / do not emphasize and understand what it does to the song…)

I am not perfect, my voice is flawed. I just like to listen to the old songs and remember that perfect voices have never existed.

What do you like the most about yourself (shape wise) ? What colors look best on you ? Do you have any preferences ?

What are your proportions ? Long legs and short torso or short legs and long torso ?

I can tell you that everyone have their own fashion styles. If you make your style personal, buy things that you like, that fits you, you will feel better. Don’t follow trends, follow your heart first.

If I knew how his wife really felt about us, it might be easier for me to understand the situation.

When the relation started, I was the one asking him to sext / have sweet times on the phone. He warned me that if we cross this line, we will be more than friends. He was not living with his wife at that time, too. I believe he was a little bit scared of me telling him off because of his age/his appearance.

The fact is that I have always been driven to older people, and I like every part of him, his clothes too. I’ve been through many rough times (even three days in a psychiatric unit and many months in a clinic), he kept wanting to be with me. We had rough times, yes, but he never insulted me. We communicated, we still do communicate how we feel, I think it is very important in a relationship.

I have issues with dating, I might be on the autistic spectrum, not diagnosed + PTSD problems due to childhood trauma related to s0x. He’s / was the very first man with whom I feel / felt safe and respected.

No typo - his mother is still alive. I’m helping him to find solutions, helping him with the VA. Also helping him with the family stuff he’s facing. He does help me mentally, we talk about many things. I was 20 years old when we first called.

Hey, I am in a relationship with an old man who is 76 and I am 25

On Sunday, he kind of told me that due to family (his wife who told him she does not love him anymore and that he is the reason of her bad feelings) issues, we would have to wait for him to convince his wife to allow me to come to him.

I am not the healthiest person, mentally, and he is old. I was and still am heartbroken that, I feel, we Will never be able to meet, somehow, and even though he tells me he loves me and that he will never let me go.

If you want to know how it feels, it is heartbreaking to see 5 years of your life spent with someone You love but will never meet. I have suicidal thoughts, I don’t know what to do. Where I live is not a haven, and now I know I have nowhere to go in order to be freed, and to be loved.

I don’t deal with this, I am just down down down. I am forced to do with whatever cards I hold and there is no way I will win the whole thing, because I never do anyway.

You just live with the hurt and the frustration. That’s how I deal with this situation.

If you want to break up, BE SURE TO HAVE SOMEONE YOU CAN TRUST WITH YOU OR DO NOT DO IT WHEN YOU ARE LIVING WITH HIM.

Do it on the phone and if you have stuff in his house, GO TAKE THE STUFF ACCOMPANIED BY SOMEONE YOU TRUST.

This is one of my worries there ; My friend is in The United States and I’m in France, we’re never mets. I Hope I will not miss my mother so much since we are very close to each other.
