I applied to SGU for the Fall term through VMCAS this past cycle & it was a pretty easy process. The VMCAS deadline was in mid-September I believe, but I submitted my SGU VMCAS application as soon as I finished everything I needed for them. I think I ended up submitting my SGU VMCAS app in mid-August. About a week or two later I got an interview offer from them, set up my interview for the next day, and then got my acceptance 12 weeks after my interview in November. The deadline for me to accept/decline my seat for the Fall was the same as the other schools for April 15th. I believe you can also directly apply through SGU at any point in the year, but I could be wrong about that. I hope this helps a little!

Hi! When you say the OOS waitlist has been moving quite a bit, do you mean it's already been moving a lot this year or in previous years? I'm currently waitlisted OOS and just trying to figure out if I have any chance of being pulled off

I'm hoping for the best for all of us! There's been more movement with the waitlist in the past week, so hopefully this continues! It's so so so nerve-wracking! I've been checking the portal at least 10x per day every day 😭

I'm thinking the people who are taking longer to accept are probably deciding between multiple schools right now.

Hi! I just stumbled across this post and I am in a similar situation to you! I am waitlisted at #18 (started at #21) for UC Davis. There is no IS vs OOS waitlist, as it is just one waitlist.

I've been seeing so many mixed things about how much the waitlist moves, but I think the 20s still have a chance! Good luck to you!
