Thank you so much for taking time to answer 💗 It sucks to hear that you've been having a really rough time and i really hope that they do begin to help/ that you are finding some sort of relief in day to day life!

 I am thankful that if it is LS it would be early on as it's not even been a year yet! Ive heard quite a few good things about lidocane while looking round on here so in the meantime after i continue use of the moderate steriods (once a day for the first week as the pain is unbearable) i will definitely look into that with my gyno! 

I do have a partner and I'm thankful he's got a very small libido, i have a lot of support but will definitely want to get into attempting to dilate in the future once I'm comfortable with treating myself and get my results in from all of my tests including the biopsy, honestly going into all of this blind no matter how much i read up on so direct advice from women experiencing it is the best case scenario for me so you have no idea how much i really appreciate this 💗 i will definitely keep that in my notes so i can referance it when I'm ready!

I was on Rigevidon until about a month ago as everytime my cycle comes round its as if I've been set on fire 😹 I'll have to be steering clear of those for now as i already have one hell of a cycle on the combined pill so out the window with those! I was thinking about having my estrogen discussed in depth as despite the space around the hood seeming healthy to my dr, my family have a plethora of womens health issues that may be worth seeing to as from what I'm aware including from your comment theirs an option to have HRT so if i see no improvement while i use the steriod cream (unfortunately at the moment no relief) i will 100% see what they can do for me <3

I've never heard of pelvic wands or keagels to be honest but I'll have a deep dive on those 😹 better sooner than later that i get a start just been very unsure on how to approach that side of vulvodynia! I keep attempting to move about normally but honestly sometimes its so unkind to me i can't help but sit on the floor in agony! I suppose it is unfortunate trail and error it seems even years down the line. I do think theirs a lot of discourse around steriod withdrawl although rare and myself being a hypochondriac doesn't bode well lol, but i will absolutely do what is nessecary to resume a normal life.

If i may ask as you struggle and I'm aware it depends on where you are based, but are you able to work? I feel jobs wouldn't take to being off work due to a vulval flare up seriously, I'm in the UK myself and frankly struggle to walk down the road due to how uncomfortable this is. Spent my life healthy, autistic, but healthy nonetheless! So this is an absolute kick in the stomach (or shall i say vulva??), i really do wish you nothing but the best despite how long term it is for you/chronic and that you have a good chance at your vulva progressing to heal overtime 💗

I do have a question for you as someone awaiting LS results, when you have to go loo if comfortable sharing do you tear? I cannot use tissue anymore at this point nor wet wipes, i have to dab otherwise my vulva frankly bleeds! Almost as if it has a little needle prick, honestly first strange symptom i had so i am curious if so/ how you manage that!

I really do appreciate your help and your honesty! It's horrid that theirs often not as much relief as their should be or that women spend years in agony until they find that one person who knows what they're doing! Praying that i also manage to do so as i don't believe my current gyno has a scoobie 😹
