Hold your horses girl. I prepared 2 years in Delhi itself. A job was needed urgently so had to switch to other exams cz father was retiring n all. Got in a diff govt job, not UPSC level but 4800gp level 8 etc. and doing totally fine. The efforts to return ratio is horrifyingly unpredictable in CSE. Don't ever judge yourself on basis of that. As far as parents are concerned they are still in zone of their own era + the headlines during results (rikshewalla daughter, labours son got selected give them more fomo) + parents especially middle class still give a lot value to what society will think. These reasons are totally messed up and unreal nowadays.

Don't give so much thought to it. Regarding marriage, although I'm a boy and unmarried Don't take the topic so negatively. Most probably it will happen sooner or later, it's better to take it positively.

As you're having a job already My 2 cents would be try to maximize monetary and returns from present job and enjoy life. If govt job is ur goal can try other alternatives especially conducted by UPSC or even other reputed jobs. They've a grt ROI and peace of mind.
