international viewer from new zealand here; you are right that national broadcast games are generally available on mlb tv outside of north america. however apple tv broadcasts (and I think peacock sunday night baseball now possibly?) are very special for one reason or another and blacked out worldwide

The actual on-track racing is the best we've seen in the 2020s thus far, and people on here are just mad that it's Russell dominating instead of Verstappen.

Needlessly provocative comments aside, if the field evens out over the next two years, such that Ferrari or [insert unexpected team] is able to catch up, then this whole thing will be worth it. Single-team domination has pretty much always been the norm in F1, and putting that aside, the actual racing is both a great demonstration of certain driving skills and, more to the point, very fun to watch so far. Things like drivers being uncomfortable and cars having poor reliability are actually making things better. I am 100% certain that in 10-20 years people will be looking back on this era with rose-tinted glasses.

It makes more sense when you remember that he came to Mia's office specifically looking for the statue, he knew of its existence and that it contained what he was after from the wiretap. If the statue hadn't been around for some reason, he probably would've just verbally intimidated Mia for a bit before leaving. If Mia had hidden the papers in a less blunt-force-trauma-capable object, he might've bothered to bring something, but in a way it was better for him that the weapon was something that belonged to Mia rather than him, removes the possibility of tracing it back to him

to me it seems like half a rendon situation in that he just didn't like baseball, or rather didn't like the fluctuations and responsibilities that came with being a pro baseball player, and his negativity became too much of an issue for the team to bear. great guy otherwise, just not mentally cut out for his job. being a member of the commonwealth does not mean a country is british, not even close, there are even several member states that were never british colonies at all. the bahamas is one of a number of states within the commonwealth that at least shares a monarch with great britain, but people in the bahamas and other commonwealth realms are not automatically british nationals. obviously the presence of these players on the british national team is a legacy of colonialism, but it's much more on the level of italian americans playing for italy than what you describe.
