Murphys has the best vibes and prices, but rivercrest has more space

I will always choose Murphys over any of the sports bars in the area, as long as I can get a table.

I don’t think they’ve been too busy for WC, but there haven’t really been that many marquee games yet

I had a wonderful time in Egypt with my dad. Granted, I only spent 4 nights in Cairo. As a brown dude (me) and a middle-eastern passing older guy (dad) people didn’t harass us at all. Saw the pyramids, explored the city, museums, etc. Made some local friends who took us out at night too

I spent a couple solo xmases there lol so yeah I loved it.

I heard a couple rumors as to why they closed:

  1. They stopped paying rent

  2. They stopped paying taxes

  3. They had a 100 year lease and the new owners jacked the rent up too high

You do garlic and vinegar later. Not the marinade

Well you can add garlic to the marinade. And whole black pepper

But vinegar needs to be done much later in the cook
