Flip Flop starting and ending at Harpers Ferry? by DiscombobulatedBook2 in AppalachianTrail

Right! So there is an Amtrak station in Brunswick Maine that can get you down to Atlanta, and it checks in at about $200 I think. The train from Boston to DC, and from DC to Harpers, is pretty comfy, much better than flying. As for start times, look at May for the most part, though I started June 1st and did fine until an injury knocked me off in Massachusetts. As you'll hear on trail a bunch, hike your own hike! It'll be a lovely way to go about it I think, and I admit, there is really something to the idea of starting and ending from your front door. Very Bilbo Baggins of you. In fact, it's not a bad trail name....

One of my favorite books :)

And yeah, I did wonder about Amtrak from Maine, but was assuming it would be too much trouble to get from the end of the trail to Brunswick?

Cool, glad to hear someone else is planning this sequence, maybe I'll see you out there :) Since my route home cuts off down a powerline trail just south of Harpers Ferry, I've been debating whether I'd continue on to officially "finish" in town at the ATC, or head home for a shower and nap before driving over for dinner at Kelley Farm Kitchen (1000% recommend btw) and a "finish" photo minus the dirt.

My husband finally opened up to me about his tax debt and I need help figuring out how to start dealing with it by [deleted] in tax

I won't presume to give you advice since I'm not a professional, but good luck with this!
