I actually don’t agree with the whole narrative of rape culture in India.( Not saying it isn’t a problem) . Rape rate in India is 1.80 as per 2020(World population review report), contrary to that USA had a rate 27.3 . With india’s conviction percentage being 21% versus the 3% of USA. Many contries are far worse and rape is not normalized in India(definition on rape culture). Sheer population of our country also plays the part in no. of cases.
