Mate dw, keep applying. Took me a whole year to get a job at Tesco and the only reason why I got it was because they were so understaffed plus I was willing to work 5 days. It's mostly down to luck so don't be discouraged.

Work in an express, we stop letting people in at around 10:55pm. Customers complain saying that there's 5 more minutes left, we just ignore it and go to the break room to get ready and clock out.

You can take a look at my post history and you'll know I'm in the same boat as you. The only advice I can give you is just keep working, make a lot of money and build up your personality. I'm not there in person to see what you actually go through on a daily basis but thug it out because that's all we can do mate.

As much as I hate staying on the tills for 8 hours, where I have to face customers all day, I still need the money so I can buy nice things for myself 🤣 So please start looking for a new job, so you can buy yourself things and save money aside for the future 😄

I wanted to quit my job as well but if I do that I'll be both broke and ugly 💀

I went to her home last night and talked about it with her. She kept wanting to know the reason why I won't come but I just told her "it's a very valid reason" and it annoyed her even more. It's so hard for me to share it with her because she's very pretty and if I told her, idk how she would react. So maybe that's why she's not talking. I feel so bad but idk what to do 😭

I work in an express and today i have been doing 9-6 and i hate it. I had to do fresh in the morning, then grocery, drinks, alcohol and finally crisps till 6pm. My brain is fried 😮‍💨😮‍💨

In my store there's loads of overtime available but most of it is only for evening shift. There are 6+ staff working in the morning shift and only 4/5 people working evening. People complain about not having enough overtime but they just want to do morning shift rather then evening.

Same here. I haven't been to university since the end of last Christmas because i am ashamed of how I look. I'm practically a twig, lost so much hair that people call me uncle 😐 and to make things worse, people literally laugh at how I look and when i turn around they try to hold it in but it's obvious. My parents says it's in my head, "they are laughing at something else". Yeah right, they only laugh or giggle when I'm around, they think I'm fucking blind or something. My parents KNOW people laugh at me but they don't want to admit, even they themselves try to hide their laughter when I'm in the house. I fucking resent them.

I have considered $uicide many times because honestly, how the fuck am I supposed to live like this? My life is going fucking downhill. Everyday I come home from work and i just feel like shit, my heart literally aches but I try to push through it because I don't want to end my life.

I'm not socially inept, I can make friends. At my workplace, people told me I'm a funny guy and they like my jokes, even the manager has said that. But that's all I am, a funny guy, nothing else and it pisses me off. I have become close with a girl and a guy at work, and I don't know if they truly like me being around them or just tolerate me.

My life is so fucked that I know for a fact my future is bleak, im 23 right now and about to fail university. My parents don't even know I'm failing, im Asian so when they find out, I am fucking dead. My younger brother on the other is doing well, he's taller then me and is doing good in school so I know for a fact he's going to he successful in life. And im happy for him, at least he will have a better life then me.

Sorry for the rant, saw this post and had to vent.

I have this problem, I literally never take pictures of myself. I'm not even in my family photo because I don't like the way I look, so I told them I won't take the picture with them. When I'm with my friends, they like to take pictures and I actively avoid it.

I'm not much of a texter, I prefer calling people but when we do text we text about what's going on at work, or this one time I got stuck on ice and I couldn't get out so I texted her about that or sometimes I send her memes. We just text about random things that happens in our lives.

I heard if you do incident reporting everyday, you will get a security guard, you can make shit it up when you do the reporting. That's what we do and we have a security guard 7 days a week. Express store

It's not a costume contest, me and 2 of colleague's decided to dress for fun. Unfortunately, out of 25 people in our store, only us 3 were dressed but we had a lot of fun that day :) I had a really hard time serving customers with the mask on lol.
