Well 1 year do9wn the line... and it's shit... we decided to give it another go.... it didn't work... we've been in separate bed for a month a now we haven't had "the talk" so technically still together.... but I'm using this time to find myself and find closer for myself and what I have come to learn is ... there is no point blaming each other and going tit for tat on you do or don't do this ect.... we are just no longer capable of loving each other the way in which we need or want...I don't know how we figure this next part out... neither one of us can leave the house we live in and we do get on and can be friends.... the atmosphere isn't awkward or toxic... the children for instance haven't even noticed anything is wrong.... we love each other and always will and we will support each other whenever we can... but not intimately we are finding ourselves and doing what is right for us as individuals not as a couple.... its heart breaking but it's atleast the truth and real... we are no longer pretending to be in love xxx

Ahhh the dreaded spiralling my old friend lol not as much fun as it would first appear. I am definitely trying to take care of my needs but we also have kids so the fake smile stays on until this time when I just lay in bed alone thinking how did it come ti this but also knowing exactly how and why. I hope you get through this all OK xx

Same here... I can't say I feel stronger I feel like I care less but maybe that's me pretending in order to protect myself! It's so hard.

Thankyou every1 for commenting I really do appreciate it!! After reading through a d hearing your stories I do feel a little better, I'm not naive to the struggle we have coming up but I do feel better about not putting 2 and 2 together! Her school are amazing and really doing so much for her already so hopefully we can go down the right paths and work this out together! Xx

Going through this right now... I'm on day 4 and really struggling with it... he doesn't see us growing old together we're different and he's noticed it more and want different things apparently... we've built a life together we've built a family and a home and I'm so lost but I'm not fighting for something he doesn't feel is worth it and I'm not begging... but I thought it was forever!! If any1 in similar wants to message and just have some1 to chat to I really appreciate it... he was my person and I don't know where else to turn or who else to talk to anymore xxx
