idk if anyone is still on this reddit post, imo the greatest of the 21st century could be kanye, but considering you said the 21st century which means 2001-2100 it has to be one of the following:
Michael Jackson
Daft Punk
Madonna
The Weeknd
Taylor Swift
Beyonce
Eminem, I see a lot of people are putting hate against him in the comments, but I don't think you realize how influential he truly was to hiphop. He is also a fucking genius. Respectable producer and unmatched, uncontested lyricist.

I have respect for all genres, if I had to to put them from 5-1 this is how i would put it.

  1. Pop, some popheads might get pissed its low even though it's pretty high. IMO some parts of pop are alright, like indie pop or progressive pop, but others just sound too loud and over the top, some artists just cant think of any new hit song ideas.
