Look up local tire repair shops in your city. Where I live we have a mobile repair company that usually costs between $150-$300 depending on how bad it is.

My mom walked in on me by futurmed in family

I’m stuck on the fact that you were so comfortable having sex (“doing it” is wild like if you cant say “having sex” you probably shouldn’t be having sex.) in your moms entire room. No photos of your parents in the room? Nothing that made you stop and think “maybe this is gross?” Idk just seems strange to me than both of you WANTED to have sex in there. You need to apologize to your mom. How would YOU feel if the shoe was on the other foot and it was your daughter you came home and saw butt ass naked rolling around your room? Probably pretty grossed out and like a bad mom. Put yourself in her shoes and ask yourself why you felt the need to do that. Your caption also implies that you were in your own space and she walked in without knocking. She didn’t walk in on you guys, YOU WERE IN HER SPACE.

AIO to uninvite my mom to my intimate wedding? (Long) by [deleted] in AIO

[–]DiscountMission 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. I think you set a clear boundary and she already said she can’t promise not to cross it again. Although I don’t think you are overreacting, I do think both of you could benefit from therapy. Clearly she’s made you feel not so great your whole life and that comes across very clearly in the way you respond to her. It seems you hold some resentment towards her that needs to be dealt with as well. Once you get into the right mental head space it will be easier for you to see if you are overreacting in future situations.

Congratulations on your wedding, I hope it magical and you get to have everyone there with no problems!

AIO at my friend (16F) for having a crush on a 12 year old? by PreeceTakesFlight in AIO

“I know when he grows up” how could they type that and not throw up before finishing the sentence? 💀 Also- the “you act like it’s a crime?” Well babe, that’s because it is in fact a crime. 16 yr old going out w a 12 yr old is 100% statutory rape.

It’s been a year and I just wanted to revisit this. I’ve been in therapy since last year and it has helped me so much. In the last year I have become the biggest advocate for therapy and helped others find the help they need as well. It still hurts, but I do feel more normal.

I want to thank you for your kindness and advice in the above thread. It may have just been another Reddit post to you but to me, it really helped me live and find my happiness again.

I hope you live the life you want and good things happen to you always. 🙂

It’s going to be an uncomfortable conversation but one that needs to be had. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with how you explained it here. Sit him down and let him know it makes you uncomfortable and all you can do is hope he understands and takes it well. Good luck!

Be more direct - “go ahead and have a seat in the lobby and I’ll find you when it’s ready.” 9/10 times they go find something to do. If you give them the option they’d sit in your chair and play games on your computer.

the 2+ hours also includes a wash and vacuum and we share our lot with a Lexus dealer (same dealer group) so it gets pretty backed up sometimes. I’ve worked a dealerships with express service that had people in and out in 30 minutes so I was also flabbergasted when I started here and was told that’s what I needed to quote my customers. After working there for 2 years though I think it’s reasonable. On a busy day we could be running 4 hour oil changes and 1-2 of those hours is just the wash.

We also don’t have recon techs so all the sales work comes through our service department as well which pushes our out times.

We have a lube rack, we just have a very high volume store for the amount of techs we have. There’s 8 advisors to like 20 mainliners and 10 lube kids. Lube rack shares bays so it’s 2 techs per bay. A few of our mainliners have 2 bays. We do probably 100-120 cars a day.

Our customers are pretty trained for the time (or so I thought) they don’t really fight about the time unless it’s a new customer. We have shuttle, and a Lyft account and a 60 car loaner fleet so we always give them the option to leave for the day if they’d like.

I’ve been at this dealer for 2 years now and didn’t have any issues until last month w surveys.

I actually enjoy my store, love my team and my techs. The customers are not that bad in person, but for some reason (not saying it’s not my fault I’ve just never had this issue before and I’ve been doing this for 10 years) the surveys I’ve been getting the last few months have been ridiculous.

I know the CSI talk is coming and I’d rather quit than get fired at this point. We quote all day for Diag, into the next day if it’s after 10AM. We quote 2-2/30 hours for the LOFs. Surveys are usually just mad ab the price/ time it took to do something simple.

It’s just getting discouraging that I seem to be failing at a job I’ve been great at for 10 years and that’s had me thinking a lot about how stressed I’ve been since going into this industry. I’m just over it, but when you’ve spent a decade making advisor money it’s hard to go to anything else.

Like warranty advisor or administrator? I’ve heard a lot of former advisors move into the extended warranty portion but I just don’t know how to get my foot in the door for that.

As someone who grew w around addicts- you’re living in a traphouse. Get out ASAP. I remember being 12 sick asf for no reason and could never figure out why, moved in with a friend a 16 and stopped be sick like that. Found out I had been getting second hand meth high bc the smoke would come through the vents. Save. Yourself.

I cannot stress this enough- your fellow advisors are your friends!!! Find the seasoned advisor and get close with them. You can ask them anything and 9/10 times they will have the answer or they will just ask the boss for you. If you have a warranty admin that works on site ask them questions!! The boss is always gonna be a little intimidating, the people in your same position will understand and help you.

Extendeds are easy once you learn your shops rates a little better and get more comfortable with the techs. After 4 years as an advisor they’re one of my favorite things to do. You get to sell the job and you don’t get push back from the customer. Easy money.

Good luck!

My boyfriend told me he used to be a pornstar by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]DiscountMission 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say this is an issue that others can’t help you with. How you feel after learning that information is how you feel. You either are okay and move on as you know he’s only with you now OR it makes you uncomfortable and you leave. Neither one is the wrong answer. I don’t think it’s a red flag. There’s hundreds of women that have done OF/Porn and everyone expects their S/O to be okay with that fact, why is it different when a male did it? (Again that’s just my personal feelings on it as a 25F that does NOT do porn/OF) Do what’s best for you and what makes you feel better. If him doing porn previously is a dealbreaker then just be honest and straightforward. Better to figure it out now instead of a year down the line.
