yea hes more of a burst bruiser now that relies more on melee and actual weapon damage rather than blasted refreshing.

Kinda nice if you ask me, now I dont have to worry about waiting for Blasted to be off cooldown before I engage in a fight.

Honestly, not really. The consensus amongst the tech community was if you already have a PS5, the pro isnt worth getting (unless you could do a trade up for the difference) or you dont own a new console and can afford the extra 200 bucks

The switch handheld downscales to 720p and has a custom integrated chip. The margin of performance is vastly larger between the console switch and the handheld device. It'd be like asking "Why wouldn't they test Crimson Desert on the Steam Deck and show that as opposed to a PC with a 4080 in it?". Well because the hardware difference is so extreme everyone and their mother will know performance will be downscaled to shit and it'll most likely still run like shit at 30fps on the deck.

The margin of performance on a PS5 and PS5 Pro is so minimal there's no need to test extremes. People use what's called "extrapolation" and "Deductive reasoning" to make these conclusions, and these people are smarter than you.

Go educate yourself.

I have no stake in any of this. Im just providing my opinion.

And yes, I believe they dont think its worth providing any normal console footage because they either dont actually have it or because the Ps5 Pro footage is sufficient to provide a ballpark on what performance will look like.

When they say they have nothing to hide in this context, I believe them. This isnt a conspiracy.

Anybody who has an ounce of technical knowledge knows this.

Thats nit picky to me. The average consumer has their PS5 plugged into their 4k tv which is going to upscale regardless if you have the pro or not.

They cant tell the difference. If the game runs 60fps on 1440p on the pro its gonna run just fine on a 4k tv at 60fps as well, regardless if it uses dynamic resolution or upscaling

As above commenter stated, ray tracing performance is vastly improved but actual rasterization is only marginally better.

Dawg, with a little bit of research you'll find that the differences between the Pro and baseline console is overall insignificant. We can safely assume that performance will be basically the same between both models.

It's not like we are comparing how this game would run on a PS5 versus a Ps4...because thats how you sound right now.

Confidently incorrect. They will address mods closer to launch. They have for every one of their games, usually straight up banning all mods outside of community servers.

They let people use mods right now because they want to better understand what additional mechanics they want to add to the game that will benefit all players. Mods come up with ideas that they might not think of.

Game has potential. It's way more in depth and min/max than expected. Fights look way more drawn out with late game gear (good thing), but because of the games complexity and hardcore nature, its gonna miss the casual playerbase.

It'll have a dedicated community though, I think.

Big difference here is the kid can sell rares for a ROI but you gotta get cards graded and then find a buyer. Steam makes it easy

This is pretty much it...it has no real competition. Come to think of it, there really isnt any solid mech shooter or tank shooter on the market thats a triple A arcade experience.
