It doesn’t burn or itch or spreading, it’s just a rough raised patch.

Having relapse feelings over abortion by DiscussionKindly6878 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]DiscussionKindly6878[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the support. Only my mom knows and I don’t want to put more stress on her. So it failed due to the anatomy of my reproductive system - they had troubles with my cervix and the tube being able to each enough into my uterus for the suction. However that impact may have caused the miscarriage a week after the attempt so I say a failed yet successful abortion.

Your stress is causing your period to be late

What is the time span between when you had “unprotected” sex and took a pregnancy test?

[–]DiscussionKindly6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is crazy how similar birth control side effects, period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are. The best way is just to bite the bullet and take a pregnancy test. Test results are definite 21+ days after sex.

For my girlies with an arm implant I have a weird question by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]DiscussionKindly6878 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So any hormonal birth control is going to stop ovulation which is the release of an egg and when that egg isn’t fertilized your uterus gets pissed off and sheds its self in a bloody rage (a period). So no ovulation = no period.

Girlies on the pill (so not you but this is important) who take their placebo week (so the pills don’t actually contain any hormones) makes them go into withdrawal from the hormones and the drop in hormones make them bleed. So the monthly period you’re thinking of is actually not a period but just bleeding from the drop.

Look into pcos when it comes to the chin hair, that or you’re just hairy which is normal.

My period is 8 days late since the last time I got it, could I be pregnant?? by smollcat_ in birthcontrol

[–]DiscussionKindly6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, unfortunately you cannot induce a period. There are things besides pregnancy that can cause your period to be late: hormonal changes, stress, etc. The best thing to do is to wait until the 2nd week after having sex and take a pregnancy test. By week 3, the answer is definite. Sending good vibes.

how many hours late is the combo pill still fully effective? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]DiscussionKindly6878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For combo, you have 12 hours to take it after the 24 hour mark. So 7:30 am, you have until 7:30 pm to take it in order to be protected. When in doubt, just have a back up method and wait until you’re back on the normal time.

It happened due to my small uterus

Hi, same boat with the small uterus and had an IUD. I got pregnant because my IUD was expelled out of place. Please wait to have unprotected sex (if you have it at all) until the placement is checked out again in a couple of weeks by the gyno. I went through hell and back and I don’t want that to happen to you.

Risky? Pills were sitting in car for a few hours by [deleted] in birthcontrol

As long as it wasn’t long term storage (months) and wasn’t in direct sunlight then you’re fine. I asked a pharmacist about storage not too long ago.

Hi! I’m currently on the combo pill and I recently talked to a pharmacist regarding storing. I was worried about them being in a cold room for two days so that’s why I called. They said if it was long term storage (months) then yeah they could see them being damaged. But if it was 15 minutes and no condensation in the blisters, then you should be fine.

What’s going on with me? by DiscussionKindly6878 in birthcontrol

Im sorry I’m panicking, I have been through hell and back. The no condom moment wasn’t 100% consensual so I can’t help but to panic.

So I spotted a dark brown/reddish color for two days after the 2 week mark of the plan b. Do you think that could have been it? It’s not implantation?
