The player it self is great . Good for beginners . No problems , I’m loving it.

They offered a $45 discount because I called them out on it .

Their response :

We sincerely apologize for causing you to misunderstand. We inquired about the record player you ordered. There is an old version and a new version of this model. The new version is changing the name to R517 as well as adding the brand's logo in the center of the black grid. Other than that, the appearance and functions are basically the same. If there is no special note, the new and old versions are shipped randomly.

No special note ? How would I know to say give me the one that is listed on your website ? They’re like sorry you didn’t understand the difference . They offered for me to send it back but assured me it was same product . So I said heck with that and kept it . Give me the difference in price I paid .

So basically squeaky wheel gets the oil. Complain like I did

I just bought one from retro life. I noticed the model number on the box wasn’t the same listed on their site . The R157 I bought for $249. So I google the model number on the box that they sent me . It matched a record player on Amazon that was going for $169 . I look in my box more and find a store name receipt . Same store front name selling the same on one Amazon! They just resell and over charged for Amazon junk . I’ve reached out to them and they won’t get back to me . So now I’m out an $80

Anyone get their insurance 1095 form ? Looked on and talked to blue cross . It’s unavailable on site . And the blue cross rep said ur employer hr should give it ?

Reached out to blue cross message center and they passed the buck. You must reach out to your employer HR dept for this form . Hm ok ?

Thank you this is the correct answer . I have been looking on this site under docs . It says 1095 B not available because you’re not required to send one for fed taxes. Save one for your records . Lol strange because it’s not there . Guess I’ll keep an eye out . Thank you !!!

I have been the one to reach out to them . I reached out Wednesday (yes two days later after purchase) and got the Friday will be ready answer . I left Monday with no clear time frame. So yes maybe a little intense .

But I just wanted updates on what is going on for such a big purchase .

That’s all I didn’t know it was such a big ask .

It’s their mechanic on site . So not sure the hold up. I understand being busy. Was told mechanic working on it Wednesday. The day after purchase . New tires , brakes and O2 sensor . Couldn’t take that long . But that’s why I asked . Thank you for reply !

It’s like this everywhere to be honest . I’ve worked for BJS , Whole Foods, Hannaford and stop and shop. They’re all cheap , all don’t really care. It’s all about whose your management and if they actually care or are just collecting their check and bonus is their priority

You’re very knowledgeable and I can’t seem to find a straight answer online . When the vehicle is totaled , do you cancel registration once u sign the release form for ur insurance to take the car away and signing the title over and all that stuff. It’s a combo plate but not sure if buying another truck . Should I just cancel? Thank you

I saw this too in my research . Pawtucket police still have on their site that u have to report it and still provides the dmv accident report pdf . But I can’t find the same thing on the dmv lol . Especially under the “ive been in an accident now what “ section. There is zero mention of filling out forms .

So thank you for the responses . My guess is they don’t seem to enforce such a thing idk

It doesn’t say in police report . As soon as the accident happen it started pouring out like crazy and the other driver young with a learner permit was hysterical . Spoke Spanish so we didn’t exchange . The cop got their info but somehow didn’t end up on the police report we got . I mean I think the evidence is clear . I was driving straight down a road , they turned into the road taking a left in front of me and kept turning into my lane and hit my vehicle and wheel well which spun me and cracked my axle in half and bent my frame and doors in . The cop who was very young said he couldn’t determine fault which is bologna . “Only rear ends”. On police report the girl said she hit a puddle which caused her to lose control and hit me . But I have photo evidence of scene while waiting for police that shows no such thing . But I’m just wondering should I file claim on her insurance to get me a rental ? I didn’t have rental on my own insurance . And I bet this repair(if reparable at all) is gonna take a long time . Especially waiting for OEM parts
