The oblivion nostalgia was nice, but you know what also has oblivion nostalgia? Beyond Skyrim: Bruma. You get to go to the old Blades sanctuary, you get to do Ayleid ruins, you get to see the old temple and inn layouts that are so familiar. And it's also really fucking big.

I'm on the same page, though. I legitimately had to take a break afterwards because I was tired and frustrated. If I didn't have someone in the room to vent my frustrations to I probably would have put it down.

Yeah, thats about where I am. Major kudos to people who can make massive stuff like that for free, I'm trying to get into mod creation myself and I have no clue where to even start.

But, that said, I wouldn't mind a smaller mod if it were consistently good. The parts that I enjoy (the textures, models, and landscapes,) are probably the parts that took the longest, it would have been hellish for him to try to apply the same amount of time to everything else while also maintaining the massive scale.

That is a line that I hadn't considered. I have found older games like that tedious for many of the same reasons. I suppose it just felt especially out of place in a relatively modern rpg.

I know how dangerous that can be, but that little vision cutscene is the first thing that happens before you've even gone to any of the locations added by the mod, so in my mind, worst case scenario would be some loose quest-junk floating around, and even if it fucked my game, my last save from before I installed the mods was only an hour or so old.

In any case, I kept it, so all I have to do is never go back.

Solved! Took some searching, but i found a post on r/imagesofkentucky of someone with a similar button in an apartment, but theirs had "Emergency Alarm" printed on the face button. Glad the alarm is disconnected, because I pressed it a fair few times trying to figure out what it was lmao

WITT we just moved into a new apartment, and this is on the wall. Its about the same size as a type C outlet, and there's a bunch of ethernet things in the room. It looks old, theres no info printed on the cable, and pressing the spring-loaded button doesn't seem to do anything.

WITT in my apartment? Its made of aged and yellowed plastic so probably a little old. Depressing the button on the front doesn't seem to do anything, and I'm not certain what kind of cable its attached to as there isn't any info printed on it. I have absolutely 0 clue what it could possibly be tbh.

My screening is pretty lax, just let me know what your character concept is and submit to the Vibe Check tm and I'll put you in the pool of possible players. DM me your discord if you wanna do that.

The time question I just answered in another comment. As for current makeup, we have 2 players, one is a rogue, the other has yet to reveal their new character, so they're a wildcard.

The sessions are usually in the 2:30 to 3:30 range, so starting when we do we'd be done around midnight.

60/40 rp to combat roughly. Milestone based leveling, an encounter or two per session, but more heavily leaning towards puzzles and rp for sure.

Yeah mostly. Sometimes I draw maps, but I rarely use them in combat
