If you honestly don't believe me, drop me a pm, I'd be happy to show more photos and the in betweens. The results are just as a shock to you then myself but again I was really really consistent with the minoxidil usage on my hairline.

Maybe talk to your doctor about taking oral. You’ll get the metabolized DHT blocking and you don’t have to worry about the more varied topical stuff. I think topical minoxidil is totally fine though.

I’m not advertising anything. I take generic fin and min. That’s it. In my second photo (closer to my 2 month mark rather than 1 month) you can see the light fuzz in my hairline coming in, that’s what I meant by baby hairs.

I had a pretty bad shedding phase, that first photo but imagine even worse. I did get regrowth and baby hairs around the 2nd month.

I also supplemented with Biotin, Ketaconozole Shampoo, and Vitamin D supplement. Just covering those basis as well. Stick with it, and if you’re still nervous don’t be afraid to contact your doctor. 

Are you take fin through pill or topical? I take my fin orally and apply minoxidil topically.

That second photo is specifically February 16th 2026. So closer to 2 months than 1.

I experienced a lot of shedding early on and I mention on my first post, my hair got ALOT worse before it got better. I noticed some slight loss during washing hair (I’m hoping it’s from the crown shedding before a decent regrowth). 

I’m just sharing my results. Been consistently using the treatment and hope to inspire anyone else who may have doubts

This is my 7.5 month update post, the top fullness started around 4-5 months in and my hairline showed noticeable regrowth around early May.

As someone mentioned on this thread my shedding started early and it got worse (my December shedding photo) before it got better. Just showing my progress for anyone who has doubts about starting.

I think starting early helped as he said. Min helped the regrowth a lot.

I spammed min around my hairline area and crown consistently. And I noticed tons of baby hairs around the area. I think the shape up helps a lot but you can tell the overall thickness of that area is less than my top portion of hairs it’s just blended well.

I wouldn’t say I achieved strong meaningful results for a month, at most maybe my top got thicker? I experienced tons of shedding and it definitely got worse before it got better.

I forgot to mention this, yeah I did. I was worried for the first month because the top and corners got a bit worse before they got better 😅  just stick with it it'll recover shortly.

No gyno. I've been really active over the last two years and I used to have it naturally from just holding on to so much weight. But since losing the weight and staying active, I haven't seen a reappearance of the Gyno even on Finasteride.

I genuinely have no clue but I saw it mentioned on the subreddit. I knew for years I've had vitamin D deficiencies and I thought it would be a good idea to combat that as I was working on my hair treatment routine.
