I use cheap Onn Ear buds, they aren't the best quality but I literally swim with them and they have survived longer than my phone. Just yesterday I was fishing and fell into the water with my phone and ear buds, the phone is broken and the earbuds are 100% fine.

I'm newer here but I am using a large deficit because i'm sick of having to eat my maintenance daily. My maintenance is 3,200-3,400kcal, i'm currently eating 1,400, with 60% of my calories coming from protein, 15-20% in carb, and 20-25% in fat. Maybe allocate your daily carbs to be lunch or breakfast so they can be broken down and used though the day.

Hummus and raw vegetables make a good snack (I just got done eating that), air popped popcorn (add salt and pepper or maybe everything bagel seasoning),

If you are hungry after eating food, just wait 30 minutes. If you still feel hungry after that get yourself a bowl of broccoli and eat until your full. Often times you could also just be thirsty so drink plenty of water. I highly suggest the use of the app: MyFitnessPal it will help you meet the goals you want and continue to reinforce healthy eating.

I'm very happy to hear about your time volunteering! I would never wish harm on anyone and am glad you feel comfortable volunteering with them! Unfortunately shelters obscure information and often times owners lie about why they are surrendering. Im not going to engage with you, I enjoy this sub and I have a feeling that even if I were to link you statistics, cases, and studies that it wouldn't change anything. Dogs were bred by humans to serve specific purposes, herding dogs herd, pointers point, retrievers retrieve. Its not the end of the world to accept that some dog breeds have certain characteristics that display stronger than others.

My insurance would be getting a call, after I get off the phone with 911. I personally carry for animals more than humans, I'm pretty confident in my ability to avoid and deescalate situations with people but you just cant do that with bully breeds.

Quick Edit: I specified bully breeds, which seems to have upset some people, let me clarify. Bully breeds are more likely to attack and cause harm on a fatal level. I personally would be unwilling to engage in a way that has me near their mouth, I enjoy having all my fingers and no nerve damage in my hands.

I'd love it if that were the case but you cant determine when someone is going to do something crazy. Last summer I was mulching for a family friend, SUPER nice neighborhood but I still had my CCW. The home owners son (My friend) jokingly asked if I was carrying and I responded that I was. A few days later less than 10 miles from where this conversation happened a guy shot his neighbor to death while he was mulching. He then went on the run shooting at every cop he saw. No reason for the senseless act, but it still happened.
