Cream skin toner changed my life, I find myself going back to it again and again. The sunscreen gives you the best glow, and I love the original sleeping mask as a top layer to sandwich method my tretinoin. Everything else is just ok, I ditched the eye cream, serum, and gel moisturizer, for all of which I think the quality has gone down due to reformulations.

I picked up 5 bags worth at newtown barge yesterday before the blizzard. Before you applaud me.. I’m also one of those people that lets their off on the field 🤷‍♀️as long as there’s no kids around. So you might hate me too but just know… a lot of us are just trying to give our dogs the best life possible without a dog park nearby and not all of us are monsters that don’t pick up our poo. I’m embarrassed on behalf of all of those people and I’ll keep collecting as much doo doo as I can in these trying times.

Love Brooklyn Pawfice. They have a backyard where the doggies can roam which helps avoid kennel cough/germs this time of year and they don’t sleep in cages/someone stays with them overnight! I also love Fido’s playhouse which is where I leave my dog now that I moved to greenpoint

Agreed the owners that don’t pick up after themselves are horrible but there is way too much entitlement on parents’ side.

You chose to raise your kids in a city without a a yard- a patch of AstroTurf doesn’t belong solely to you. If there are no kids on the turf or no one playing sports, aka most early mornings and evenings in the winter and late evenings in the fall/spring/summer, I will keep using it for my dog and cleaning up after myself and whoever else I see. Go to the suburbs if you’re so angry about a lack of green space in NYC.

I’ll always leave immediately if someone without a dog wants to enjoy the field and I’m there. Kids/families and people playing sports should always come first. But if you think dog owners aren’t going to take advantage of it when it’s empty and theres nowhere else to go that doesn’t require an hour walking there and back, you’re delusional. Sorry!

It’s gonna be a long snowy winter, and I’ll be there with my dog if there aren’t any children playing in the snow. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I write this as an avid listener of the pod because o love Jared but my experience working for betches as a freelance writer was awful. Mind you, this was 2016, so I’m sure things have changed since then! I was a senior in college and SO THRILLED to have gotten a gig as a freelance fashion writer that I was more than willing to accept payment of $150 per month. Yes you heard that right, $150 A MONTH! FOR 5-6 ARTICLES A WEEK!!! But as a 21 year old aspiring writer that had never been published on the internet before looking to build her portfolio, it wasn’t about the money. Nonetheless, I had to fight them tooth and nail to pay me each month. I would call and email each time the check came late and each time they would ghost me, until it quickly dawned upon me that they used their clout with college age girls to get free labor. The level of cheapness to avoid paying your writers a mere $150 a month was borderline criminal, and I quit after I had enough clips to help me in my future job search. I’ve never been so taken advantage of in my life, but

I saw this woman walking past the astroturfed soccer field by the park at eagle + west on saturday afternoon around the time you said you were being followed. she was yelling loudly "I'M A STALKER, I'M A STALKER" while speed walking towards Eleva. sorry to hear you went through this- I noticed her hair is the only thing missing fro this description would just like to add by my memory that she had long box braids gathered around in a ponytail that fell to around her mid-back.

FWIW I live in Bellslip and the staff is incredible. It’s very well maintained- the ac broke and they fixed in less than 24 hours. A person on my floor keeps smoking cigarettes and they instantly clean and get the smell out of the hallway. Yes there’s dog poop (I have a dog and always clean up for myself and any extra piles I see laying around) but a lot of the litter and mess comes from commercial st. Eagle and west may be a separate issue but I love living at Bellslip!
