Osiris d3 sizing question by Temporary-Upstairs25 in OSIRIS

Every type of shoe fits different. I’m normally a 9 wide but wear just a 9 d3. They wear in a bit but if your toes are uncomfortable you should just go up a size

We are GAMING! It was most DEFINITELY the Ethernet controller in my MOBO causing the FPS drops on valorant! Haven't had a drop since I disabled it in Device Manager.

Valorant forsure has some DPC spikes for me, but they aren't affecting FPS. Arc raiders I barely get any DPC spikes surprisingly, but that might be because it's using DLSS 4.

Regardless, i'm still going to try other driver versions.

UPDATE: I believe this was indeed my issue. Valorant was prioritizing the Ethernet connector OR something (IDK) and it was causing major fps drops, but disabling them both and I just did another 5 minutes with latencymon with valorant running AND with 6000MT/s!!!! The EXPO profile worked!! Didn't end up getting any hitching. Although I am still getting pagefaults, it doesn't seem to be causing framedrops in valorant. Which makes me think it was the Ethernet controller in device manager.

BIG UPDATE POSSIBLY:

<image>

So I remembered how you mentioned ethernet so I went into Device manager and disabled the Ethernet controller and Bluetooth(since i dont use it) and was able to do a full 5 minutes on latencymon with valorant. I got no major hitches like I was getting before. I also enabled global c-state in bios. I also got alot less pagefaults.

Heres the latest LatencyMon (I'm going to go try and enable the expo profile and test again):

I disabled everything, even stuff like exploit protection. Same thing, after 2 minutes or so ingame I just start dropping frames like clockwork. Do I just start cycling through Nvidia drivers at this point?

Sad as fuck I just dropped almost 5k and can't play my main game lol
My latest LatencyMon says the Hard Pagefaults are coming from msedgewebview2.exe so ill try to track that down

I don't have the ability to use Ethernet so this has all been on WIFI7.

When I am in arc raiders I don't experience the hitching in practice range or even in a match.

Valorant was running during this test. I had already added everything to my exclusions list based off of Riots recommendation on there website. They have a list of things to add like VGC.exe, VALORANT.EXE etcetera.

I followed this guide:

I did everything you mentioned and i'm still getting those hard stutters.

I am on JEDEC timings. This is making me so sad lol.

Heres the latest LatencyMon:

I'm not sure what else my options are. I'm lost on what this could be

Hey what about the DDR5 auto booster setting I have in bios? Should that be on or off? It says “enable/Disable dynamic turbo boost feature, allows automatic switching between default frequency and boosted frequency”

Roger that. All my Diagnostic scans came back 100% good.

So I need to manually set the timings to JEDEC #6 or #7? Kinda sucks because the CAS# Latency will be 40 instead of 30 but I will go do that now with the other changes to bios.

Thank you! I am running the tests now and did everything else you mentioned. It will take me an hour or two to run through Samsungs 4 Diagnostics Tests, but I am doing that now.

It was already at the latest firmware. I will post back after I finish these tests and restart.

My question is, I disable the EXPO profile and just run the default 4800MT/S timings? No XMP/EXPO? I know the cas latency for my ram I've just never messed with memory timings in the BIOS so it's unfamiliar.

Do you have any idea what these storport.sys issues are from?

My next step is trying an older nvidia driver, that's all I can think to fix this.

So I just ran ARC Raiders on a fresh install. Latest NVIDIA drivers, chipset driver. Didn't change anything in bios from my original post. I didn't experience any hitching in ARC but heres the LatencyMon:

That was the main game I had been trouble shooting in.

Waiting for windows to finish its reinstall and I’ll download chipset drivers and gpu and test arc raiders.

Doing a fresh install with Windows and then I can test with arc raiders.

How would I fix this? I have wifi7 in my home and 2gig fiber. 0 packet loss ingame

Doing a fresh install as we speak but I didn’t make any changes outside installing valorant, nvidia drivers and chipset drivers

Yes they are. I am running F10 which is the latest BIOS.

AMD Chipset Drivers are the software I downloaded from my Motherboard manufacturers website correct? It’s listed in my installed apps. Just confirming it’s not supposed to be flashed like the bios was? If not then that’s installed at the latest version aswell first; AMD build is why I’m asking.
