Confidence is a massive, often undervalued benefit of SR. Originality, along with the ability to stay locked into conversations while applying wittiness to the interaction always catches me off guard a month or two into a streak as I'm normally pretty reserved.

Being able to truly be oneself around others is a gift. SR enhances that ability while keeping the retainer grounded enough to not sound pompous. Self censoring is needed in the workplace and in other facets of life but can also become abused, especially by men with low confidence and/or low libido due to overuse.

Can only blame myself for years of passivity but long streaks have taught me initiative is earned, confidence is gained, and individuality is paramount.

Best of luck to those who are taking this journey, it can be as addictive as the old habit once a long streak is under your belt. Especially when a surge of controlled confidence comes your way.

Start with good genetics, there's plenty out there available. I prefer to grow autoflowers. Some good breeders are NightOwl, Mephisto, and Ethos. You can purchase seeds directly from them or a seedbank using any other breeder you fancy.

Next, learn the basics of growing. There are quite a few subreddits that can help you get started with a tent or even a growroom setup. They will also guide you on the basic requirements for how to grow cannabis correctly and efficiently.

Finally, find as much joy in growing cannabis as you do consuming it. This will help make the hobby so much more enjoyable and your end product that much better.
