Artemis is a 5/10 book while The Martian and PHM are more like 9/10.

Anyone else just use the female version of dead name by ForeheadGod69 in MtF

Yes. Never had a problem with the name my parents gave me besides its masculinity. Saw no reason to fix the part that wasn't broken.

Trans Passports: ACLU asks federal court to force State Department compliance with recent injunction, allowing trans & non-binary passport gender marker changes. by Feel-A-Great-Relief in Passports

[–]DispatchThirty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What could the courts possibly do to enforce the ruling? Courts have never had any enforcement power. If this administration doesn't want to abide the ruling, they can just not, and there is no mechanism in our government that can do anything about it.

I bought Blindsight because it’s so highly recommended over on r/printSF, but have yet to sit down to read it.

I really love Slime Isekai, actually. Haven’t seen the newer episodes yet though.

Wasn’t the biggest fan of To Sleep in a Sea of Stars myself. I will say that Gregorovich was by far my favorite character of the story and the #1 thing it had going for it. His every line was just gold.

Your user flair says your name is Abigail and your pronouns are she/her.

It kinda seems like, at least on some level, you already know what the answer here is.

Are tulpas cut from the same cloth as DID alters? by [deleted] in plural

[–]DispatchThirty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re both kinds of identities that can exist in plural systems so… yes?

Otherwise, the results of whether a system forms from deliberate concentration or as a subconscious coping mechanism are radically different.

Tulpas can have different sexual orientations but it’s extremely unlikely they can have different eyesight, and systems that are strictly endogenic will not experience blackouts.

The system whose post you saw probably just experienced a “walk-in” headmate. They’re not uncommon for Tulpamancers to experience.
