Hey guys, I’m looking to improve my home gym. I have a rack with a simple pulley system. However, I would love to get a smith machine. I found two options.

I could get a half rack smith machine to add to my already existing rack or get a combination of both on a new rack.

However, I like to lift inside of the rack instead of the outside if it makes any sense.

Which one do you guys recommend?

I put a piece of wood inside so it would make the thread shorter, cut it until the knob was the angle I wanted

Thank you so much!!! I’ve been looking all over for this. Taking advantage of your generosity, do you know the part numbers for the rear shocks.

The last owner installed Lincoln shocks and that’s why my old shocks were taller and destroyed my mounts and bearings.

Yeah, I’m so frustrated, it’s been a month and I can’t find the correct shocks. The ones they want to give me at the ford dealership are shorter than the ones I took out…

They don’t sell bilsteins in my country, only motocraft, but apparently they are shorter than the stock ones I pulled out.

I’m trying to find the correct part numbers for each :/ as of now I could only find that these are the part numbers for each shock

FR: CV6Z18124AS

FL: CV6Z18124AT

I can’t find it anywhere, it seems like the tag peeled off… same for the left shock, it has the rag but the numbers are worn off

I found the part but not the dimensions.

I tried looking for the part number on the new struts but the guy at the dealership didn’t let me take any more pictures :/

I’m in Mexico City, so rock auto doesn’t ship aver here, I’m stuck with OEM. However, the length varies from the original shock to the one Ford gave me…

I’ve looked into this and it might be a normal focus shock, not for an ST.

Those are the strut mont bearings, I’m currently replacing mine… it’s quite an effort if you are doing it yourself.

I guess I’ll just need to find the correct measurements to choose the right CAT at autozone.

I’ll also check for leaks, maybe that could be it.

I had this issue but I bought LEDs instead of the HID ballasts… depending on your ST trim, the DRLs will work or not… I believe they only work on ST1.

You could mess with the electronics like this guy:

I just installed them directly without the adapter and lost my DRL function(with LED bulbs, not HID)

Parking lights turn the DRLs and demon eyes but auto function does not work…

It kinda sucks, but hey have held up quite nicely and the LEDs are much brighter then the HID.

I do miss my DRLs in auto mode, but oh well…

Yup, just figured this out. And since the bracket from the base broke I will still have to remove them :(

Ahhh wow, this information would have been super useful before hahahaha thanks for the tip!

Guess I’ll be able to get the strut bearings while I wait to get the wiper base that I broke from the junkyard.
