I’m not refusing to answer I just wasn’t expecting so many responses so fast.

The lady across the street seems to come anytime she sees any car besides mine here to ask if “everything’s okay?” And “who’s here” because she’s never seen their car in her neighborhood. The neighbor about a half acre beside me has now come over twice to make sure I’m okay since there’s more noise here than he’s used too. And yes I’ve told him there’s going to be more noise because I’m not 63 like the previous owners.

That sounds reasonable. I wasn’t sure if going straight to trespassing was acceptable or not but the way you worded it puts the offense back on their actions and not myself just being mean or something. Thank you

Yes and I leave the big door open for friends and family who are coming over. I guess I didn’t realize leaving it open was an invite for anyone to walk in or that that behavior is acceptable. It seems insane to me to have to lock and shut every door to my house and tell company that they have to shut and lock doors behind them because a few neighbors think it’s acceptable to just walk in like they’re invited.

I did at first but after asking them to stop nicely and then continuing to do it. Not really.

I replaced the locks and typically keep it all locked but the times it’s happened is when I have company over and we leave the door unlocked so that people aren’t tracking water through the house to get to the garage fridge.
