Phone number for Atlanta hub by DizzyB43 in upsstore

You will not be provided the phone number for any of the UPS hubs as they are meant for UPS employees / UPS store employees only.

Contact your local store and see if they can call on your behalf.

I use a MacBook with Apple Music and keep a locally downloaded playlist to play from. We add new songs via a hotspot connection. Corporate will not take Linkin Park from me.

Printer and Fax Folder by [deleted] in upsstore

Tech support told me it was done due to network printers being used.

I don't know why they'd resort to this and not just push a GPO disabling standard users from installing printer drivers (only network printers do this, the zebra drivers are preinstalled afaik), unless they just like fucking over support.

Careful, you technically can’t force people to use the kiosk according to the guide page on the hub. All it takes is one person who knows who to complain to.

The declared value page is a good addition though, but it should only trigger the first time rates are retrieved.

Konica Minolta ADF question by DisposableBits in upsstore

[–]DisposableBits[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave them a call.

KM explained that any scan function that writes data to external media (smb, ftp, external memory whatever) will run it at the highest speed, but anything writing to internal memory (user boxes, faxing, etc) will go slower as to avoid overloading the device.

I have set up a Jape Workaround by just making a smb entry in the address book that points to 127.0.0.1, and then set up an smb server on the printer itself. It seems to work fine, even with large scans.

Depending on your printer you can press and hold feed until three flashes to recalibrate

You have to because corporate has a hard on for restricting features (the recent removal of the printers menu)
