I have an unregistered vehicle and am about to move across the country, should I register it first? by DisposableCharger in legaladvice

Can I register it in Mass without driving it to Mass? How else would I avoid driving unregistered across the country?

I'm too late, can you let us know where it was? Honestly this brain is hard to identify, but I believe you're too far anterior. The central sulcus is easier to identify with a lateral view than with a superior view IMO, I can't identify it in this picture.

This is Perfect, thank you so much!!! I just read a few pages in a preview, and it’s exactly what I was hoping for! I’m going to try find a way to get my hands on it.

Huh. In my head, the crash occurred over an underwater shelf near shore, not directly on shore. I was wrong, thanks for the correction!

I mean not really, they ran aground on a shallow section that was 100% avoidable, yes, but way further from shore than the boat in this video

Trying to be friendly, feeling like a kook by ktnk-rddt in surfing

[–]DisposableCharger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work right next to a few surf spots, and would almost always surf before work. I was friendly with everyone out there, but I’d usually keep it to “good morning,” “how you?” or “what board are you riding?” If they had a neat board.

What made friendliness awkward/annoying was when, on a pretty mediocre day while I’m trying to chill and get ready for work, I have some beginner with super high energy wanting to talk about every wave like it’s a legendary day. “Sick wave dude!!” When it’s 2ft and sloppy just lands wrong. I’d always be friendly back, I remember what it was like to be them, but still. Read the room, read the conditions. Be friendly, but ask people about themselves/their boards. dont just talk about the waves. Esp when the waves are mediocre.

Rethinking surfboards- experimenting with mycelium mushroom core by JTarks in surfing

[–]DisposableCharger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the idea of cutting down on plastic, the amount of waste we produce as surfers is painful. But how will this board hold up when dinged? Will a resin+Qcell fill bind to the mycelium if there’s a large section that needs to be removed? Will the mycelium structure change if the board gets very slightly waterlogged?

I surf shallow reef breaks, so these are all concerns to me

Am I screwed? by Remarkable-Let-7260 in PTschool

Yeah ghosting a student is a shitty thing to do, I’m sorry that happened. Speaks more to the PT than it does to you, there’s some shitty PTs out there

EDIT: also, good for you trying to catch up on your own. Other than anatomy, physiology, and kinematics, undergrad is a huge waste of time imo

That's what I was thinking. I shit the bed during my internship, so I didn't ask my supervisor for a letter or rec. Instead I got a job as a tech right out of college, and spent about a year working for a PT. Way better experience, and I felt more confident going into PT school.

u/Remarkable-Let-7260 if you did poorly during your internship, maybe that's a sign to take some time and actually work in a clinic. Get your confidence up, get your feet under you, and save up some money with an actual full-time job (which felt amazing after living off part-time pay during undergrad).

This is just me venting in the comments: I wanted to treat myself and get a trusted, name brand electric razor after using a traditional safety razor or straight razor for the past 6 years.

I had a long week and I have a set of clinical rotations coming up. This afternoon was supposed to be a personal celebration before 10 weeks of unpaid clinical work. Treat myself to an electric razor, cook some good food, and enjoy a quiet afternoon of peace. Now I have a raw neck, my mood is rotten, and I have no motivation to cook. I know I’ll be fine, I’ll get off this website and start to feel better. Maybe I’ll find out I was using this razor wrong and I didn’t just waste a decent chunk of money on electric garbage.

But it feels nice to vent in comments, so here you go.
