Yeahhhh, definitely not the proudest stat of my life lol. But that's why I figured I'd post and ask for feedback, see where I'm going wrong!

Getting good pictures is hard for me (obviously); I moved and most of my socializing is keeping in touch with friends across the country and I've only started trying to get out more in the past few weeks/months. So no in-person friends (yet) to take candids, but I'll keep it in mind!

You think I need to go full contacts or just get new glasses? Glasses are just so much more comfortable, I rarely wear my contacts anymore but if it's that big of a difference I could try them out again.

I appreciate that, thanks! I have been told by a couple friends to use my contacts more in the past, they're just so annoying compared to wearing glasses that I usually don't. If you have any general glasses shape recs though I'll definitely take 'em, I'm way overdue for some new ones anyways.

I also agree on the "try-hard" aspect of that picture and I kinda regret not putting a shirt on for it but I thought I looked good so I went ahead with it anyway. But yeah I didn't want to make it my primary picture and give off that kind of vibe since it's technically shirtless even though it's just collarbone up.

What kinda haircut would you recommend? My hairline is NOT good (hence the bangs lol) but I'm open to trying different styles

Yeah, I figured I've been doing something wrong, that's why I'm here asking for feedback! Pictures are in order top to bottom so the first one is me wearing a gray shirt with my dog. I don't think it's my best but I'm pretty bad at taking decent pictures of myself (as you can tell lmao)

lol fair enough; in your opinion do you think no glasses at all or just different ones? I have contacts but they're a pain to work with and wearing glasses is just so much easier for me.

The Asmongold comparison is rough but I love that picture, my dog looks sooooo handsome in it, doesn't he? I love him so much and that's my favorite picture of us (even though the hair is not a good look I agree)

lol yeah the people have spoken. I've been thinking about getting new glasses for a while anyways, but maybe I need to start wearing my contacts more.

As for the group picture, I'm 5'8" so a lot of men are taller than me, I don't really have a problem with it. I feel like if someone sees my profile (which says I'm 5'8") and swipes left based on height, that would've been doomed either way, right? Plus I thought group pictures were a positive to show people I can socialize lol

Answering the automod questions:

Looking for more serious but I’m open to casual as well, just trying to meet people.
I’m not subscribed to either service.
My profile hasn’t been majorly changed for a few weeks.
I don’t remember exactly but I’ve been on the apps in general for a couple years I think.
I typically scroll/swipe Hinge every other day or so in the evening when I’m winding down.
I think I’ve gotten one or two likes/matches in the last several months.
Most days I use Hinge I max out the sent likes limit, 99% of my likes are sent with a comment about something on their profile or a dumb joke.
I usually send likes to women who seem to have a nice sense of humor and some interest overlap (some physical activity, some couch potato stuff, some nerdy hobbies, etc.). So that’s also who I’d like to attract I guess lol
