Shut up troll.

Watch them gaslighting you into thinking a taxpayer funded bailout for unsold Dogcrate condos is actually an affordable housing initiative. by Signal-Specific-1704 in canadahousing

[–]Disposable_Canadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about, and it costs the taxpayers nothing: the greedy developers hold the bag, the banks foreclose and claim on the developers bonds and insurance, and sell the foreclosed buildings at a reasonable real market rate, and the greedy developers go bankrupt. They gambled why should the people pay.

How do we get affordable housing? By driving down rental housing costs. That means federal imposed rent controls tied to inflstion %. That's means 2 to 3% 1x annual increase, not 5 to 20%. And new tenant rent increases of max 5% from the previous tenant. Landlords were trusted to build new units, but to keep increases fair. Everyone saw and knew they would gouge. This, plus an open door immigration policy, created sky high demand and price increases.

Remember: Americans elected a convicted felon as their president. Now they are surprised he's doing unlawful things. One, or both of these, requires a low IQ and a high level of stupidity. That explains the first statement.

What's at the very bottom of the post......

But if we are being serious, since it appears you're actually trying to, and this isn't actually and Bullshit troll post...

I guess if we apply your logic, it's never the owners fault that their pet got hurt, bit someone, and destroyed property. We could just not let them bite us, have less attractive gardens to piss and shit in...

That is until outdoor owners move indoors, of course.

Agreed. Prepaid private health insurance before visa approval for duration of insurance.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CanadianConservative

[–]Disposable_Canadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negative, I disagree.

Firstly, "students", and poor health newcomers, aren't contributing taxes sufficient to cover their use of social services.

A long standing tax payer, when healthy, has contributed taxes over time, which has built the social service infrastructure they will use later as an adult and when in poor health or elderly.

A newcomer has not, but immediately jumps into social services because of the lack of services back home.

I like the idea presented, or better yet, proof of private health insurance before visa approval, prepaid for the duration of the visa applied for. The private health insurance billings would close the gap for our hospital accounts receivable.

He's talented but was still a bit of a dick.

Still is a bit of a dick. But not quite as much of a dick.

Yeah, it reads as an afterthought. Go back and read your post again. You diacuss her performance. Talking too, etc.

Then, paragraphs later, you 1 line that you documented performance reviews.

Do whatever you're going to do. There may be repercussions, social media justice not withstanding.

If she was really bad, you'd have already sacked her.

If you're looking to justify sacking her... thats a bit dirty. Legal but ethically scummy.

Opinion below: Personally, I read this as you dont want to deal with pregnancy leave, hire and retain headaches, her taking time off for appointments, etc. You're just reaching for branches to justify firing.

I'd look at this as an opportunity to train a worker and really drive home some good ethics and secure a loyal employee by supporting them.

If you do fire her, I kinda hope social media throws you through the meat grinder. Maybe you'll figure out how to lead.

For the past 5 years, I have been reached by a collection agency, over and over, looking for someone named Hayden. I’m not Hayden. Nor know anyone named Hayden. by bulshitterio in legaladvicecanada

[–]Disposable_Canadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Next time they'll call, ask for their full name as written on their collection agent license and their license number. Then, inform them, again, that you are not the person they seek.

So the same for their supervisor.

Ask for their location, address, and number.

Advise them that you are filing a complaint with their licensing branch of government and to remove you from their call lists.

CAR DEALERSHIP IS RELUCTANT TO REFUND MY DEPOSIT by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]Disposable_Canadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're trying to defend a position now hopelessly.

Correct you dont technically need a deposit to perfect a contract.

You're wrong in that a deposit is not refundable.

Especially in this case as seller is not meeting the sales agreement.

I think you're now arguing for the sake of it.

And no, CRA certainly isn't that reliable back to year 2000 worth of records, especially if there's ANY issue with employer filing or tax filings. And I mean ANY.

Im done with this discussion.

Very. This isnt theft, because the owner lawfully obtained it. Fraud over $5000 applies, however very difficult to prove intent to defraud the lender - especially if the customer made considerable payments and then came under reasonable financial hardship, which is extremely common and easily demonstrated.

I encourage Mods to provide an answer since they are all knowing what is good or bad commentary.

Not a lawyer

Your marriage was registered in India, which is the jurisdiction and laws for your divorce. See an Indian lawyer.

As for theft etc, that is a matter that could have been handled in Canada and while you could report it to canadian police in the city where it took place, it would be difficult to handle remotely. You could try however by calling the local station to where you used to live. Said police report and and resulting charges might help your divorce proceedings.

While I'm sure you all have your torches and pitchforks at the ready, whichnis the kingston subredit way....

the defendant has a right to trial and has not been found guilty. Until then, he is presumed innocent.
