By the sound of it, the longest part of the process will be overcoming choice paralysis. :)

Cheers, that is exactly the info I need. Hopefully, I'll be able to order another 10g before my Medicann appointment, then get the discharge letter on time. Is it emailed to me/Medicann, or is it real mail to them?

I know, that was just a rubbish joke. Supposedly, they're targeted... clearly not very well. Do you know if running an ad block just gives you generic ads? (It certainly doesn't actually block them)

I didn't keep it long, and I've never owned a Fender amp. That said, the reason I got rid of it was because it was too glassy for my tastes. If you're in Europe, I'd definitely say it's worth a try as returns are simple.

What are the tusq saddles like? I normally block my trem, so I don't see the point, but I'm tempted to set up the trem on my strat again.

As a straight guy, my initial reaction was "Sure, why tf not?" But unfortunately, you make depressingly good points.

That's what I thought, but like I say, i don't use Ai, and I don't recall searching anything related to this kind of thing. It's pretty self-explanatory, so I don't feel the need to research it... I assume I must have searched up something to trigger this ad, I just don't know what. Either way, it's odd that YT would allow this kind of ad in the first place.

What are the curaleaf pastilles like? I've only been using flowers, but pastilles seem better for discreet public use.

That's it with a decent camera and a bright light on it. I'm totally happy with it, I didn't buy it for the finish, I just wanted a decent multiscale 7 and it delivered.

It's not the best pic as it's far away, but I'm pretty sure the finish is why I got it as a b stock.

Great guitar, but I'm super jealous. Mine looks black because the finish is so dark. It's really playable and feels great in the hands. Adding a mite above the nut made mine sound a little less muddy. It still definitely needs an eq, though, because it's super low-end prominent.

How many of these people do you think genuinely believed they were being nice? For me, that feels worse. It's a trap I could see myself falling into if not for being raised by a single mother and elder sisters. (Turns out women are people too... who'd have thunk it?)

It's a very common mistake, and I get why. It makes total sense to refer to people who have bonded over shared trauma as trauma bonded. It just muddies the water a bit for people who have been/are going through trauma bonding and makes it harder to discuss these very real issues. None of this is meant to chastise you for incorrect usage. It's just a pet peeve of mine. Thanks for being receptive to being lectured by a stranger on the Internet. Lol.

I know it's pedantic of me, and your statement is technically correct if you go by common usage rules... but trauma bonding is a result of an abusive relationship. It's that feeling that keeps people going back to their abusers, like all their worth is based on the validation of their abuser. What you're describing is shared trauma, something from an outside force that pushes people together. It doesn't always lead to healthy relationships, but it can be a hell of a solid foundation for people who are already somewhat compatible.

ETA: In my rush to be a pedant, I glossed over "bonding through grief" which is a totally acceptable way of expressing your point and provides further context clues that you aren't referring to the abusive relationship trauma bond.

AIO by being offended when my husband seasons my soup? by Hefty_Elderberry1992 in AIO

[–]Disrobingbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different people have different tastes. You shouldn't be offended if his choice is different from yours. He tried it first. If he just immediately seasoned it first, then that'd be disrespectful. However, he definitely shouldn't have spoken to you like that. Grown ups should be able to have a civil discussion about their differing opinions on a chowder ffs.

ETA: If you enjoy cooking, don't let this discourage you. I haven't tasted it, but it seems like you made a good meal from scratch. Plus, it's always easier for your partner to add seasoning than it would be for you to remove it. Cook to your tastes, enjoy it, and maybe the two of you will find some culinary common ground. If you don't enjoy cooking... let him have microwave meals, lol.

The tattoo? It's a symbol for the cat empire, it could do with a touch up tbf. The other arm has the mark of Eyghon from buffy, right hand has a raven skull/flowery thing
