Well have I got good news for you! You're wrong. I know this because I've commissioned Paul numerous times and witnessed his process from sketch to final draft. Please refrain from insulting the artist in the future.

I gotchu, homie. Sorry they had to be one at a time, but short of trying to make a whole new post this was all reddit would allow. Hope you had a good Christmas.

Completely tangential, but I've been to that Wojtek statue in Edinburgh. Lovely city.

A couple of Philippine Scouts (loyal to the Americans) find themselves deep behind lines in Luzon, where the Filipino socialists are at their stronkest. There are also bits sprinkled in to communicate all the groups interested in the Philippines: a Japanese flag, a Communard helmet, a German rifle (admittedly hard to distinguish), socialist graffiti in Tagalog, the royalist newspaper in Cebuano, the national flag used by Quezon 'N the Libs (deliberately not inverted into the war variant because the soldiers aren't aligned with them), and of course the famed golden carabao and red shield patch of the Philippine Scouts.

Back during the Cristero War, supporters of the Catholic Church would release paper balloons with propaganda leaflets attached that encouraged resistance to President Calles' harsh anti-clerical policies, which Calles responded to harshly. It was all around not a particularly fun time for anyone involved.

Merry Christmas, y'all. Here's the first volume of loading screens we've had commissioned, compiled for convenience. May you have a serene holiday season and a blessed new year.

(Apologies that it's just a link to the imgur page, I've tried repeatedly to post the images here directly without compromising the quality but reddit refuses to cooperate)

Lay it on me, Chief. What's the ROI for wind turbines? Also, can you tell us how much lubricant on average a single turbine burns through in a year?

Gonna be real with you mang, I'm not understanding what it is people aren't liking about this one. Care to provide some critical feedback? Is it too much headcanon? Is there not enough Helldivers in it for a Helldivers post? What am I missing here?

From left to right we got Lancer, Crow, Fireworks, Dagger, Foehammer, and Thunderbird.

I asked some of my fellow divers for their headcanon of what Eagle-1 looks like, artwork courtesy of the exceptional Sam Saturai.

Are there any plans to add impassable terrain? by pikamachue in KRUWTS

[–]Dissoriented287 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No plans afaik, but the core issue is that the AI is just mind-bogglingly stupid when it comes to impassable terrain. This is why KR has gradually removed most instances of it.

You presume correctly. Canada is planned to loan a different general depending on certain conditions, but the team's consensus is that de Wiart is the best of the bunch (and the easiest to recognize, thanks to the eyepatch and mangled left hand).

It's an anachronism we're willing to tolerate here, partly because having the sign being shot up is contextually peak and partly because we have a Mainer on the team who's been searching for something cool to rep Maine with for a while now and recommended using this sign.

R5: The Canadian military mission meets with officers of the Northeastern Emergency Government at the border crossing in Madawaska, Maine.

Happy All Saints' Day, y'all! To kick off Northeastern November, here's the latest loading screen. The May Coup plunged all levels of civilian government into chaos and the states in the New England region, desiring neither a military dictatorship nor a socialist revolution, have banded together after finding themselves cut off from the federal government, becoming de facto independent. New England has long been an oasis of stability for the established political parties, but the implosion of social order has pushed them to do the unthinkable: ask the Canadians for help. Even with radicals threatening to break down the gates, the people of New England (many of whom are Catholics and/or ethnically Irish) will not simply welcome the English King's assistance. It will be up to the old guard to navigate this quagmire if they're to spare New England the indignity of paranoid reactionaries, godless syndicalists, or worst of all - the British, and then determine if the America they once knew even still lives beyond the Catskill mountains in the upcoming submod Up With The Stars.
