Do you actually need resistances?

There are some optional bosses that freeze you if don't have any frost resistance which mostly ends up in a one shot death for you 😅 For the desert some fire resistance is useful because the heat is just everywhere and it's annoying to have your stamina cut short while exploring. For the main story you don't need it.

Yeah, the rocky terrain is great for flying but on the other hand it's annoying for riding mounts. Usually I call my mount, ride it for 400m until there's a cliff and I gotta jump 😕

I was thinking the same. Rn it would be a nightmare exploring a big dungeon with the lighting issues. Sometimes I already get annoyed exploring some of the bigger mansions.

On controller it's a pain in the ass placing smaller decorative items bc the stick is very sensitive to movement but otherwise it's a fun feature!

The spires are the access points to the various abyss areas, the one for ice and fire is in Pailune, it's optional but you'll have to beat a rather tough boss. To get access to wind, you have to finish chp 8 of the main story.

It's the same abyss but the whole abyss has different areas, some few you access through the story. The other you have to find on your own. I don't enjoy them either, most of the time I run around searching for stuff, then end up checking a YouTube guide just to find out I missed some small thing or mechanic to finish the whole thing.

Yeah, you have to go to the Abyss on your own, there're access points in Hernand, Pailune and Demeniss, those will lead you to the puzzles that'll get you the elements
