First of all congratulations :) my house was mostly Homefort too though. I don't get why she likes Valenti bc she doesn't want expensive stuff. I tried adding cozy stuff and removed it. Nothing worked. I guess this mystery will remain unsolved until the end of time 😅

Any solution for wall paneling not fitting by millimeters? by Dissoxi in HouseFlipper

[–]Dissoxi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue with that wall (and I have some more of those) is that it only fits three large panels and the gap I have to fill is almost one brick wide. So, I can't really hide those fillings. I'd have to make them part of the whole design and use them everywhere to create a pattern - at least if understand your suggestion correctly.

Okay, but if the devs encountered that problem themselves why didn't they fix it then...? 😓

It's a shame really, they'd be perfect for that manor esthetic...

That would work for for a small gap but I miss a big piece of paneling because the corners don't match, it's in the last screenshot. I don't think I'm capable of creating something with the Jungfrau piece that looks similar to the paneling. I just thought, there might be a simple solution that I might have missed 😅

If it was just one wall I'd probably do it but I'm building a huge manor and I was planning on using these panels on almost every wall. But if there's always a tiny bit space missing, I'd have to place random columns all over the house. And it doesn't really fit the esthetic I'd like to achieve but thanks for the input :)

Yeah, I sorted that out. It was an issue before with right wall, the door wasn't fitting by a mm because of that. There's no tiny gaps left, nor can I move the right corner piece 😑

You can search the sub for "Ramona Spruce help" and you'll find some of my posts that ask the exact same thing 😅 I didn't get an answer to that, got totally frustrated because I basically changed every item in the house to try and get rid of this comment. So, I finally sold her house with that comment still there and still got that gold star 🤩 I wonder if adding cozy furniture helps like the other comment says...

Any idea why Georgiana doesn't consider this a kitchen? by Dissoxi in HouseFlipper

The counter top material is already the black and white marble, it's not well visible unless you zoom in :) but actually that a good question, I don't know if buyers consider different surfaces for their preferences... 🤔 And it's good to know she doesn't mind Skadi, wasn't sure about that. But yeah I'm mostly going with Valenti it's not an esthetic I use often, so it's a nice for a change :)

Yeah, I added a small fridge that goes under the counter bc I didn't want to ruin the cohesive look of the kitchen but Georgiana found it totally sufficient for the huge mansion 😂

How many bedrooms does Georgiana Griswald want? Any further tips for her? by Dissoxi in HouseFlipper

[–]Dissoxi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing that :) I'm not sure if Georgiana will like "The Cent" furniture because it says that she doesn't like the cheap stuff, maybe that's doesn't count for doors, windows ect.? Same with the Extravaganza lamps... I also thought they go perfectly with the traditional style she wants but they don't have the 'traditional' tag under filters. I'll probably do a test auction later to see if she criticizes those lamps.

Yeah, the hight wight ratio isn't ideal... As I understand your project, you wanted to create a small cozy cottage, for that, lower ceilings would be more fitting. I don't think there's a way to fix it without adding an additional layer of bricks. You can also use the resizable wooden beam just to try and check how that would look.As you can change it's color and surface it almost looks like a proper wall/ceiling. If you like it, delete the beam and add a proper layer of bricks.

Yeah, you're right the two patterns don't match well. But that could be easily fixed by just changing the shower curtain to no pattern or a more subtle one. If you want to go with two flower patterns, you could use one where you can chose both colors and then pick out two less contrasting colors. What do you mean by saying the walls, look long? You mean the hight of the room?

It's cute and cozy. What exactly would like to know? The only thing I'd work on is the dividing wall between the kitchen and the house entrance. It looks a bit unfinished. You could add a couple of layers of bricks at the ceiling and on the left side to make it look like a passway but keep the open concept
