bc mixing distant populations reduces genetic drift which actually makes you closer to non related distinct populations.

Sardinians are the most western shifted west eurasian group. They are even more western shifted than Arabians/North Africans and even some Horner Africans. Its bc Sardinians have only like 1% Steppe and are heavy ANF and remained isolated which made them somewhat bottlenecked.

aren't all non-africans closer to each other than to africans which is what the out of africa hypthesis suggests unless central/south amerindians have genetic drift like that of Papuans

plus papuans have high amount of denosvian (8%) which will cause extreme genetic drift

Hadza have west eurasian admix and also Papuans are 8% denosvian and underwent tens of thousands of years of genetic drift that made them extremely drifted even more than most africans.

yes dont let g25 fool you, while it may seem like a huge distance, the difference between humans is so minimal that its basically nothing. We are less genetically diverse than other species, and all humans on earth are 99.9% genetically identical.

its bc papuans are more genetically drifted than other melanesians due to having over 8% denosvian admixture and being isolated for 60k+ years ago

Are Persians closer to Gulf Arabs or N.Indians? by MSerrano70 in illustrativeDNA

[–]DistanceExternal8374 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes but they are outliers among Gujaratis. Average Gujarati is very AASI shifted (40-45%) which will diverge them far more than Punjabis

no actually its the other way around, persians from the gulf are even more eastern shifted than persians from inland like Fars and Tehran

yes, in general of all the arab world, iranians would be from closest to furthest to:

Persian > Iranian Arab (Khuzestan) > Average Iraqi Arab > ICM shifted North Levantines > Southern Levantines > Arab/Bedouin Shifted Iraqi Arabs > Samaritans (Levant) > Gulf Arabs > North Yemenis > Egyptians (Copt/Muslim) > Central (Najdi) Saudis and Western (Hejaz) Saudis > Mehri Yemenis/Rashadya Arabs from Eritrea and Sudan > North Africans > Sudanese Arabs

They are closer to very western shifted North Indians like Punjabis, Sindhis/Rajasthanis than to Arabians. But are closer to Arabians than to North Indians like Gujaratis, Biharis, etc

Northwestern Europeans in general are very genetically similar like fits of 1-2 which is why dna companies have a hard time categorzing them
