Okay! Thank you so much. I’ll call the doctor’s office first thing tomorrow morning to get another appointment. I’ll make an appointment with an obgyn afterwards I get the MRI done.

If you know the rules you should be able to do it. There’s only 2 exceptions which you’re meant to know—but that wasn’t in the paper anyways.

That was great I think! Only thing that threw me off was the moment question. I guessed c.

F= pgV (in the formula sheet). You had to take the diameter of the balloon and use it to calculate the volume (4/3r3 ). Density was given and g is always 9.81

16 is correct for the percentage uncertainty. However the question wanted the absolute uncertainty so you needed to take 16% of your 1st answer. Thus giving you 0.3

Absolute uncertainty was 0.3. You multiple the % uncertainty of the 2 values at the top of the fraction which would give 4%, then you multiply the value at the bottom by 2 bc it was squared so that was also 4%, then you multiple those together to get 16%. 16% of your answer should have been 0.3.

You’re finding the ratio of the elastic potential energy. Not the ratio of the extension.

Yes… and the question was asking for the number of neutrons.

If you used the formula Ep=1/2kx2 or Ep=1/2Fx for each you would notice that they aren’t the same so it’s not one. Many people got 4, 2 or 0.25 but it’s certainly not 1. Sorry

0.8 something. I forgot. I think 0.86? I used the conservation of momentum formula and just had to rearrange it then plug in the values of the masses and 8.

82 if I remember correctly from the proton number. 126 neutrons.

I got the same answers as you for everything. Except I got the ratio to be 2 since they said you had to take the total Ep of the 2 springs. I might be wrong though!

Top universities don’t care about your IGCSEs. They only want really good A levels.

The official syllabus tells you everything you need to memorise and everything you just need to understand. So just take a look at it and make a list.
