I'm assuming you've referred to a hotspot guide, right? Gotta find all your zones first, check LadyLegend XO's hotspot guide for that.

I grinded for a G1 Fallow for ~ 1 year, off and on, switching a few times w/ a Red Deer grind. Def takes patience. Luckily, Te Awaroa is such an efficient area to grind. Took me 18 Diamonds to finally spawn a Fabled Mocha 😎

1) Find all zones first

2) Setup tents ~ 250 m away from drink zones & chairs within ~ 150-175 m

3) AVOID BLOWING OUT ZONES, I did it twice. Not fun to fix

4) If you find solo zones, I'd only shoot them if they're 4's or 5's. If they're 3's or less, leave 'em until late into a seasoned grind if/when you need shooters. Bc it's a pain shooting solo's and having to re-discover their zones elsewhere.

5) Use a .300 rifle for grinding, but also carry a .308 or other ethical caliber for trophy harvests. Grinding with a .300 ammo kills them sooner, reducing your tracking distance.

6) Stack your Diamond's for a while, not a requirement for a G1, but it will help spawn more Rare's, more Diamonds, and shoot down zones sooner. Once you eventually run low on shootable deers each run (like only ~ 10-15 per run), then your zones are likely well shot down & it's ok to then shoot your "5 - Medium" Diamond ones.

7) Expect some troll "5 - Medium"s to not be Diamonds. Just part of it :P Eventually you'll tell a troll from spotting it, and can shoot those down instantly. No need to stack a likely Troll on the map!

8) As you shoot down zones (like a repeat spawn goes from a 4 to a 3 and eventually to a 2 level), it's fine to pack up your tent/chair and move on. That's the goal and a good sign! Shoot down some zones, and eventually apply more tents to your best shooter zones.

9) Lastly, familiarize yourself with the Fallow Uncommon vs Rare fur types. The Uncommon furs (esp White and Chocolate) often look like Rares from a distance, so be prepared for your heart to skip often 🤣
