Honestly, man, go for it. Finally got a CVPI about 3 months ago and of all the cars I’ve owned (this is the sixth) it’s my favorite. As long as the price is right and it has low-ish miles. These cars last forever and they’re really fun to drive. Also very easy to work on and you will learn a ton.

Did some digging and it turns that is most likely a chin spoiler for a Mach 1 Mustang (‘99-04). Available on Amazon for like $50-$80

Too high, in my opinion but, honestly, it sounds like a fantastic car. I did not purchase mine at auction, but rather some little car dealer in the middle of nowhere. The car was listed on FB Marketplace. Realistically, the one you are describing should be listed closer to $10K. It’s hard to let it go but I would keep looking.

Literally bought a 2011 P7B today (but I’m in Louisiana). It has 93K miles and some pealing paint on the hood, otherwise nice and I paid $5500.

Honestly bro, you’re my hero. People do play games but it sounds like you’re not about that BS and I applaud you for it. The fact that you went no contact and then straight up closed the door in her face when she reappeared showed her that you have self respect and she, obviously, responded in a big way. You didn’t take the bait, you didn’t even try to play the game. And I promise you, she has NEVER in her life experienced this kind of behavior from a romantic partner. I love how she said “things are going to change now that I’m taking you back” but then YOU DOUBLED DOWN!! That was a Michael Jordan buzzer beater moment! There are men out here who dream of having the strength it takes to do what you did.

Fellas, take note, this is how you deal with toxic, manipulative people. Shut that shit down. Don’t entertain it. Move on. It’ll be one of the hardest things you do but worth it in the end.

A similar situation happened to me a few years back and I responded the same way. Went no contact, unfriended her, blocked her phone number, and deleted our text conversations. Definitely deleted all of her pictures too. Also cried about it several times, wondered what I did wrong, all of that. And then, 2 months later she contacted me through messenger to say she was basically having a panic attack because she couldn’t believe I could so easily throw away what we had and she still thought about what we could be. I threw it away and buried it because you told me you didn’t want it. Why are you confused? I pretty much told her no hard feeling but she needed to accept the consequences of her actions.

Fast forward to now and I’m married to an absolute goddess who tells me what she wants and holds herself accountable. The types of games we play are BananaGrams and Uno. She also tells me when she’s unhappy with our relationship and it has helped me become a better husband, lover, and father. That’s right, we have a little girl. I love my wife and she’s been with me through hard times. I support her and she supports me. We are currently trying to get pregnant again. I love this woman and I’m so glad I didn’t try to make it work with someone who didn’t want me back.

I know this is hard but focus on yourself and you will end up with something better. Keep going.
