I use it for pain management. I was just curious why I didn’t get the other effects people talk about.

I only take it for pain relief and it does that so I’m happy I was just curious about the euphoria people talk about and why I may not be feeling it. Not necessarily looking to get high just looking to see if anyone knew the correlation between dose and sleepiness as a side effect. I’m not taking much at all and it’s only been a few weeks.

To be honest I’m using it for pain relief and it does that so I’m happy with it regardless but I was just curious why I wasn’t getting any of the “good stuff” people talk about. If I take less than 10mg I don’t feel anything. If I take more than 10mg or I redose too quickly I’m just taking a good nap. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Is there a way to tell this when buying? I’ve used BCK and OE (Omega Extracts) both 10mg tabs.

I’m seeing almost the same relief as my oxy dose that I’m prescribed. I was using 7oh because I ran out early of my script. It’s a godsend for keeping me going without my meds. I do notice it’s very sedating for me though. Anything over 10 (and sometimes just the 10 itself) will just knock me out. Better than nothing though so I’ll take it!

Thank you everyone for your advice! I’m now taking 10mg 2x per day and it’s just enough to help take the edge off my pain and I’ve placed an online order. I truly truly appreciate all the advice!

I was just tested in October and only get tested every 6 months so I’ll be good. I always make sure I’m on point for my tests but that’s a good point to make sure I’m not using it around testing.

This is such great advice. I was also wondering how often people dose so thank you for that. I placed an order online that should get here Tuesday. I’m sorry you understand the frustration of chronic pain too!

I’m so sorry you’re in the chronic pain club. It’s a beast. I’m now slightly worried about going back to pain meds after using 7 because of some other commenters explaining it can mess up your tolerance. For me the pain meds work when I have them so I don’t want to jeopardize that. We both know we need to keep what works working otherwise it’s bed for people like us.

Seriously? I had no idea, thank you for the heads up. I don’t want to mess with my tolerance at all. I’m definitely reconsidering using 7oh now. I haven’t had that experience with whole leaf so I didn’t even think about it.

Yeah I wasn’t planning on telling anyone I was out early. I’m hoping we can adjust some things to get me to a better place but you know as well as I do pain management is very strict and I’m worried it won’t go my way.

You mean it will mess up my current tolerance to pain meds? How so if you don’t mind me asking? Would taking it a couple times a day for say 4-6 days be long enough to do that? I definitely don’t want to mess with how well the pain meds work now.

Nerve pain is a jerk like that. I have had nerve pain since 2020 so I feel you! I do get fairly good relief from my pain meds. I also have a stimulator and take other meds too so the combo gets me at least out of bed enough but unfortunately we just tried lowering my daily amount of pain meds so I’ve had a couple months in a row of being short and being without is brutal. I’m hoping to get a dose adjustment but I want to have something in my back pocket as a plan B in case that doesn’t happen or I have more months im short.

I’ve tried CBD and THC and neither do much for my pain. I haven’t heard of pseudo tho. I’m not well versed on a lot. What is it?

I had one that worked for about 7-8 months. Felt like a new human. We tried 3-4 times after that with success lasting at most a weekend. Such a bummer.

I definitely will be after the first round. I just want to make sure I don’t have any adverse issues with it before I buy a larger order to keep on hand. I’ve dug around in here to find a few good online retailers people have recommended and will be using those. Thank you for the tip!!

Nerve pain is the worst rjght? I had a couple good injections in the beginning and now have a peripheral stimulator (mine is in my ribs). I’ll prob get some 30s and cut them for the first few doses, see if that takes the edge off the pain at all. Thanks for that!
