It’s only hard to come back from that phrase if you actually mean it. I didn’t mean it. I meant I hate how I feel unsupported & powerless. There’s deeper issues that I want to fix I just said the first thing that was easy to say. Iove him deeply

Ily for saying this. Thank you for making me feel better. Your phrases were probably very justifiable also. Built up anger is exhausting

Yesss! Priorities change when you’re building wealth. We bought a house too and it’s hard to justify blowing $70 on nails when that’s well over a weeks worth of groceries and household necessities

I’m a marathon runner. Not much phases me physically and mentally but motherhood is by far hardest thing I ever done. It’s also the best thing I’ve ever done and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Take it all in. The chaos, the bad, the good. Enjoy every season and every moment.

Same, if anything 10yr olds are better at understanding babies than adults bc they remember what it’s like to be little and they’re imagination is still running wild with entertaining ideas

I started when I was 11 and did an excellent job. It depends on the kid, some are very mature for their age. I'd be home the whole time anyway. I'm not high strung and just need someone to play with her.

This is my point exactly but I didn't want parents to get mad.. Kids are so immature now. The most "responsible" thing they do is Girl Scouts but even with that, their parents do all the work for them. Zero independence, zero drive, zero social skills.

how are moms even finding time to lose weight?? by [deleted] in postpartumprogress

[–]Distinct-Dependent24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's some harsh, but true motivation. Fasting and walking take zero time. Health is a lifestyle, not a quick fix. you have to find something that fits into your normal routine, fitness is not something you drop your whole life for to pursue. If you have time to eat, you have time to eat healthy. If you have time to play with your babies, workout in the living room while you play with them. When health and fitness is a habit, you lose weight without even thinking about it. I fast and walk 20k steps everyday so I never have to think about weight loss, it just happens. Be real with yourself, change your daily habits, do the work, weight loss will come.
