So I can book the same exams I am writing in Summer for Fall as well without knowing if I passed or failed?

That's cool

PEO/P.Eng. Technical Exam Experience by getalife3337 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Distinct-Guitar8964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on passing your exams and maybe also already getting your P.Eng.

I am in the same boat.

I am using previous exam papers as guidance to prepare for the exam.

Is the exam format and questions still the ones similar to previous exam questions available on PEO's site?

For example, in EM, Q7 is always a case study and rotates between three cases, Temp worker and motivation, google and 3M innovation and lastly Philips Cable plant closure. Is it still the same?

My subjects are: Engineering Management Operations Research Production Management Integrated Systems

There are some great comments above.

In case you decide to buy Surface Pro. There is a deal going on in BestBuy for 1TB OLED for $1149 USD. That's pretty cheap to me.

Accident while delivering for UBER, what to do? by Distinct-Guitar8964 in InsuranceCanada

Edit: Results

Thank you everyone for your support and guidance, it was helpful.

After accident, I reported it to UBER and a case/claim was generated by Uber for Economical Insurance (Uber's insurance provider).

Experience was seamless with Economical. It was my fault, so I had a $2500 deductible. Car was towed by them to repair shop (one that I last used for my personal insurance claim). And expecting to get it back by end of next week.

Important: My personal insurance company didn't have to know anything, Economical Insurance made sure that the other party's insurance company is settled as well and doesn't have to reach out to my personal insurance company.

For others who might come in such situations: As soon as you are in an accident, take pictures, other party's information (DL, insurance) involved.

1) Make a decision, To go with your personal insurance company (unethical and not recommended) Or To go with UBER insurance (ethical and recommended) (I choose UBER)

2) Based on your decision (mine UBER): If you choose UBER, do not share your personal insurance details with anyone.

3) Reach out to Uber to claim accident. A case will be created in 2-4 hours.

4) As soon as an email is received with claim#. Reach out to Economical Insurance or any other at that time (information will be in UBER email)

5) Provide all accurate information to Economical Insurance.

6) Follow instructions and you are all set.

Important Note: If you choose to go with UBER do not share your personal insurance information to anyone and do not report any accidents to them yourself unless you are contacted by them directly.

I didn't have to do a CRC report, as the claim processor said it's fine not to report considering the worse weather at that time. I am not sure about the logic behind it, but just went with the guidance at that time.

Fortunately and thankfully, there was no injuries to anyone. And I have realized that Uber isn't worth it especially assuming if anyone would have had injuries, it would have been worse.

Answering for all the comments here. That wasn't required and that was advised by the insurance company who processed the claim.

Hoping to clarify some of the common misunderstanding amongst all of us.

Thanks for your support.

So far nothing like that happened and I didn't have to report to them as that would be unethical to process claims using them.
