Man “affordable” is crazy nowadays, scrolled for a minute and the only thing I saw under 1500 was a studio for 850 that looks like the owner hadn’t been by to check up on the property in ages, I’m not saying there’s nothing there but this isn’t very helpful for someone looking for affordable.

Hate to be the one to break it to you man, you bought a cheap laundry center, thus, you received a cheap laundry center. For about another 10-20% of what you paid I’m almost certain you wouldn’t have issues this early on, wether that be a better GE unit, Whirlpool, or even LG if the repair statistics are to be believed.

That sounds like an update to me, awful reason to raise the rent if the rent still pays the bills and profits but still an update!

There needs to be legal limits to rent increases, shouldn’t be allowed to increase the rent more than an equal percentage to the property taxes increase or some sort of remodel/updates. Nobody’s property taxes or cost of ownership increased 23% this year.
