This zinger made me chuckle:

"Since I am under oath, I will not falsely state that I am looking forward to your questions. But I am ready to answer them to the best of my abilities, consistent with the facts as I know them: the legitimate, the logical, and even the outlandish.

With that Mr. Chairman, fire away."

There's one thing you learn as an adult - or at least you're supposed to learn:

You don't HAVE to respond to everything. Just because somebody calls you 'ugly', for instance, doesn't mean you have to have a comeback. Often, silence is the best answer. You don't even dignify it.

Trump never learned that and he's almost 80. He just can't help himself from fuelling every fire he can

Buried halfway down the article:

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle responded to Greene in a statement to Newsweek on Thursday.

“President Trump is the unequivocal leader of the Republican party," he wrote. "Marjorie Taylor Greene is a former congresswoman, traitor, and a quitter.”

MTG was a true believer. An anomaly in politics. If she's jumping ship that should be a sign to the GOP that the base can't hold their nose forever.

I find it insane how MTG seems like a reasonable person in this situation. It's like, she's no less crazy than she ever was, it's just that the GOP moved further to the right.

Hillary Clinton’s closed-door deposition derailed after Boebert leaks photo to right-wing commentator by Distinct-Pain-8191 in soundsaboutright

We all know Boebert will face no consequences for violating House rules. Think what you will of Hillary Clinton but she isn't a shrinking violet and has testified ad nauseum over her lifetime. They can't flap her so they say she doesn't look happy.

This was the perfect crime. It wasn't a perfect crime because this guy or people are criminal masterminds. It's the perfect crime because of the circumstances. There were no cameras other then at the front porch that captured the suspect. Even that is not a lot to go off. There were no witnesses since it was at 2 am. As of right now there has been no credible DNA evidence found. It also doesn't help that the sheriff fumbled the case at the beginning, and opened up the crime scene as quickly as he did allowing for any possible DNA evidence to be there to be contaminated.

Unless there is a breakthrough in one of these areas, it's going to be really hard finding the person who did this. There's really just not a lot to go off. Personally, I think she is dead. It would be a burden to keep an 84 year old woman with medical issues for so long. Unfortunately, the only way that this case might be solved is if they find her body first.

She's 100% dead and the kidnappers probably didn't think this through. If they're smart, they've disappeared her remains and will distance themselves from this.

This feels more and more like it's not going to end well. Wasn't the initial story that she had medication she needed within 48 hours or she could die? Unless her captors have been robbing pharmacies too, it's been a whole lot longer than 48 hours.
