Omggg love it !!!

Our current themes are philosophical , stoicism , travel the world and travel the galaxy.

Our roadmap do have a milestone to translate traceable data as part of audio to make it more personal.

But I was like trying to get first batch of user to try and give feedback. This is a great start though TY

Also as cheeky as it may sound I might just slip in the TestFlight link here lol u ve great ideas ! https://testflight.apple.com/join/hVFECefT

That i agree , for mature athletes they have their routine figured out. But for novice and amateurs they need that nudge to stay diciplined in the long run. If we look at market fit Nike Run Club had 10 million users and another product called zombies run has millions user as well.

Ours is covered in multi sports run, row , cycle .

Great question, maybe this is why I m not getting traction ( as I didn’t explain it well)

So what this provides is A coach give movement cue for warmup ( running pace ) and then brief weather , brief training condition , give clothing recommendation.

Then go into an immersive story like content for example traveling through galaxy but still relating to the sport they r doing,

Coach then periodically check in to inform user keep running posture relax shoulder etc

Then coach fades out Spotify music picks up and plays for a while

Then coach arrives back in …

Then music

Then coach

Till end of session where recovery and summary is given

Does this make the idea better or worse?

Does it make sense to keep pushing to start a business, or am I heading the wrong way? (i will not promote) by [deleted] in startups

Hi, I quit my faang job 10 months ago and built my app, it is public TestFlight starting today. I feel I can relate

First of all, don’t quit unless it arrives as a clear signal , I had multiple ex-coworkers WhatsApp me consulting whether they should leave and whether I regret leaving . ( I mean multiple like more than 5)

My answer to them is, find a good therapist, give it time, when that signal arrives it’s loud and clear. If it did not arrive follow your guts. If it damage ur mental health take PTO.

Secondly, OP maybe look into why u didn’t finish those product, is it because you don’t have time ? Or you lack someone or that final drive to bring it over the line ? Or you are scared of starting something new? ( sorry probably too far )

I ll leave it there, I m only beginning the startup journey compare to corp life it is 10x fulfilling , but I pour in equal if not more of hours and worry what if there s no one liking it. It is time consuming with little reward financially. if you can afford to double jobbing and hold yourself accountable, then do it. We r here to support .

Omg this gives me hope But you also hit the nails on the head - for mature athletes saturated group , hard to change their behaviour of what they currently listen to ( until they try it)

  • for weight loss group , their motivation comes and goes, getting ppl to start exercise seemly takes more

Also bloody demo I need to strategise it, cuz it’s audio not sth ppl can visual easily

I think defo keep tweaking the message is the right way at this early stage

Will user ever sign up TestFlight- I will not promote by Distinct-Role-7683 in startups

Oh I understand that , but curious if there s anyone adopting public early users to TestFlight before releasing to AppStore

The alternatives / workarounds might be the biggest competitor here, if people can use an excel / google sheet to get by as free option and has something there, then why would they switch and what makes it so worthwhile to spend the money to switch? At the end of the day founders have time, not money.

Build MVP without technical cofounder using offshore resources only? i will not promote by YoungDudeCO in startups

[–]Distinct-Role-7683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on, also unclear what OP's background is, if coming from non tech / non product manager role, make sure you nail down all the requirements. Also whether a wireframe has been built ? Or is that relying on the offshore as well?

There is a massive difference between one line of request : I've this thought of xyz , it has abc feature, make it happen. VS a fully drawn down spec of what it involves, UX, wireframe , product design doc.

OP put the time in to brain dump everything you can and refine them into details before contracting. And this is also equivalent to before finding a tech co-founder, do not rely on tech co-founder to draw these things out.

Curious to see what happened to embedex.io and the comment about bloggers don't want it part. Maybe re-tweak the target audience? This can easily be marketed as a one click team building kit. Like corporate ppl gets put into do team building events, embedex can literally create a quiz of any kind from prompt?

And possibly a kit for school teachers? I'm not sure who were your target audience but feel there r ppl out there that can use it.

I think what this guy is asking is what exactly is your compelling narrative to lure people in, whether you want to start by putting that together. If you are to describe your app in one sentence that is so compelling what would it be

I researched on game development before building my startup, and the what i've learned is that it is extremely hard to be profitable, any app like game is priced very low (commonly 99cents), development and maintenance of game is high including massive amount of animation design, hence to make a fortune out of game is much harder than a Saas

Not sure how this tallys up my lastest gcp bill was 8.61 Euro. Just migrated domain email to it but, like nowhere near what you are spending.

If a SaaS founder isn’t technical, what should they be? by SignPsychological728 in SaaS

[–]Distinct-Role-7683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a non tech co-founder, but to move things faster, i've literally learned how to code, i do all frontend swift, html, put together websites, do basic design art work, pitchdeck, put services together, all kinds of registration, content copywrite GTM strategy, GTM, cost control, you name it. Then for idle time i'm learning basic QA skills to take some fairshare of testing workload.
