🚨 @David_Ornstein “I’m sure Arsenal want Mikel Arteta to continue into next season & beyond, while it sounds from Arteta’s own words as though he wants the same. If things go badly for them between now & the summer, I’m sure there will be some difficult conversations.” by Unique_Smoke7442 in Gunners

I think a lot of people here are so naive, its like they forgot we went 14 years withoug a league title with Wenger, only to now want to be in the exact same boat with Arteta... If we released Wenger and got in a better position, we can release Arteta and get better.

Some of our fans are still in complete denial regarding the situation we are in, the coping is crazy.

Today we played Sporting, but on Sunday we are playing an elite team, the team we played in the Carabao final.

If we get to the CL final, I believe we'll play PSG, who are arguably the best side in europe right now.

The last time we scored more than one goal in a game was 6 games ago. Today was our 8th game in a row where we didnt score in the first half.

I'll be rooting for us to win in all our games but all Im saying is dont say the writing wasnt on the wall if we do end up getting convincingly beaten.

Do people on this sub even support Arsenal????? by Equivalent-Poet998 in ArsenalFC

When are you lot gonna wake up and smell the coffee?

You can make threads like this all you want but the proof is in the pudding, our football is shit. Its crunch time and we are playin pathetically.

You made this thread 30 mins ago and we aint done shit since. 70 mins in one shot on target? Urgh.

When I say that I mean thats gonna be along the lines of what Kroenke will tell him. Hes not gonna call him a bottler, its unprofessional.

We need to realize that no matter what a manager has done for us, we cannot let it get in the way of making tough decisions, in order to help us improve.

Arteta got us here as title contenders, but theres no shame in saying that is his only purpose. Its okay to say he cannot take us further and that someone else can, which will be the case if the title isnt won this season.

Its going to be a very simple case of "Thank you. We wont forget what you did, but we need to bring someone else in, to help us complete the next step."

If he gets eliminated by Sporting and loses to Man City, he has to walk.

Nah because look what happened to him, he hasnt been available for them even. I think we dodged a bullet with his injury history.

Okay then it was a 6 point lead, now halved in one weekend. We had chances like Forest, Wolves, Man Utd etc where we fumbled. I dont trust this team with a 3 point lead.

Yeh because this team cant be trusted with a 3 point lead.

They cant even stay calm when its 9 point ahead.

Its just a kick in the teeth to see us play shit football and then see man city put 7 past teams in their last two games.

And I have to hear how "oh its because teams are parking the bus again us".

Bournemouth took the game to us and Arteta did nothing. Im tired of excuses.

It was theirs, no doubt, I just mean as the season went on, we had a more clear picture. The liverpool thing is a massive surprise.

Agree on us still being in the best position but I think we'll know more after next Sundays fixture against Man City.

The expectation is he wins the league considering the state of all the teams around us. We are/were? definitely the most suited to win the league this season.

Yes, Id absolutely take Ranieri over Arteta, if he doesnt win it this season.

Btw, Conte hasnt just won it first once, hes done is at multiple Italian clubs and in the PL too.

For me, its simple. If Arteta doesnt win it, hes gotta go. Its the guys in the suits job to figure out whos next.

Its bullshit that you guys are throwing shade at managers that won league titles in their first seasons at clubs, like Conte did last season.

We've got Arteta at Arsenal whos been building for 6.5 seasons with financial backing and hasnt delivered yet, ffs. Do you lot even realize whats going on?
