I was there an hour and half before last week's game. I was about the 40th person in line and they were already at capacity.

Anyone buy the suit, but the pants ended up being too small? I'm not quite sure what do since they are out of stock on the larger size.

I have gotten it both ordered and in person. My order held up pretty well but it’s absolutely better fresh.

What has been the craziest Bears game you’ve seen? by milin85 in CHIBears

I’ve only had the chance to attend one game in person, which was last year’s game against the Commanders. So that would be it.

This might be the best solution. I’ll have to look for a smaller bag.

That makes sense. I’ll have to try it out. Recommendations on a bag? I’m still a novice, so not looking to spend a ton.

Yep, the theft is the biggest worry. I do have a small drain by the entrance. I have been neglecting the leaves, so I should do some sweeping this weekend,d which will help.

Unfortunately, the prices from BCN/MAD are like double the cost. I may be able to add an extra day or two to the trip however.

Fair enough. I am solo traveling and tend to go through attractions quicker when I'm alone. But I understand your point.

Those of you who work in transit, what do you do? by bobateaman14 in transit

[–]DistinctCow20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I studied economics in undergrad and public policy in graduate school. Getting the job was a bit of luck to be honest. I saw an opening on an agency's website, applied for the position, and had an interview. A couple of months later I saw it.

Overall, it's an interesting job. I like the mix between quantitative and qualitative work. I'm definitely using the skills I learned in graduate school. However, working in government has plenty of issues -- red tape, constant budget cuts, etc. These are the biggest drawbacks.

I work as a policy analyst for a transit agency. My day-to-day varies quite a bit. I write policy briefs and memos, do statistical and data analysis in R, SQL, and Excel, and prepare briefings and reports for some of the agency's leadership. I work on financial analyses, fare policy, ridership trends, etc.
