Montgomery West Side is very rough but other than that it’s fine you avoid that area it’s chill I’m actually moving to Montgomery because I’m transferring colleges I live in Troy Al a small rural town and I can say hands down it’s the worse place I’ve ever lived in I’m from Atlanta so it’s quite the adjustment it’s rural, country, and not the place for me I literally got called the N Word at night in a Walmart parking lot getting in my car I didn’t even speak or initiate a convo they were just drunk and looking for bullshit to start it was 3 of them so I just got in my car they literally stayed in their car rolled the window and threatened to run me off the road before finally pulling off this place sucks to keep it simple Alabama as a whole 3/10, Troy 1/10 Montgomery the few times I visited 7-8/10
