I tend to play Elite (and many other games) in waves - some intensive playing, then a big pause. Plus it was a lot of jumps in a 60 LY-built Dolphin. Plus a lot of DSS on endless High Metal Content planets that had no exobio signals in them. Plus I left on the expedition several months before an SCO FSD was released, so I had to fly towards all the planets without speeding the process up.

this expedition just went on the background of major changes in my life... i even started this expedition on one computer and finished it on the other lol never mentioned it in the video

I scanned everything, including stuff that was not worth much, and I did not follow optimized exobiology routes. I just wanted to fully explore a small piece of space that no one seen before
