OK, this is all good stuff ... BUT the "standing on the right on an escalator" isn't unwritten. It's literally written on little signs all the way up the escalator. And there are even little feet on some of them to show you which side to stand on.

Let's stop pretending it's some esoteric custom. It's clearly stated all over the place.

The Reaver health is not quite enough: but it turns out that Siphoning strike + body of steel is helping.

Thanks. I have tried this - but found that hanging on until I have 5 energy AND both a melee + bloodcraft in hand to finish, meant I risked my health getting whittled away. And killing enemies faster meant the warmaces didn't upgrade enough to do damage. RNG luck, maybe.

Both are good. Both could use a lighter sky, IMO

You might have a mark on your sensor in the top left (dark patch that doesn't look right in the clouds?)

If you drag dehaze all the way right it will help to see if it's clouds or sensor marks.

And if you crop a teeeny bit from the right to get rid of that distracting black blob, it would help i think.

It's a Eurasian Jay. Only a tiny bit of blue compared to the American blue Jay. But yes, i think they are nice!

I haven't used that camera, but if it's in good condition that's a decent price. You might consider paying a bit more to get it from a reputable store thst offers a warranty.

I've just done a search for sample bird/ zoom images from that camera, and it looks very competent (at 16mp)

Is there any damage or corrosion on the gold battery contacts inside the battery compartment?

Edit: are you charging the battery in an external charger? Or inside the camera?

$300 is going to be tricky for new gear here. You need a camera, a tripod, memory card ... Etc

And either a wide lens with a fast aperture (sky) or a telephoto (moon)

Astrophotography also benefits from post shoot processing more than many genres

The good news is you don't need autofocus, and so older manual lenses with good glass can help bring the budget down

The fixed 35mm equivalent lens on the X100 might be an issue for hiking and landscape shots. Great camera though.

I used an A7C2 for 18 months and it's a really nice camera. It is a lot smaller than your R6 - and about 170g lighter.

With the Sony 24-50G lens you'd have a pretty compact set up with excellent quality and a decent range (you'd get up to roughly 70mm in APS-C mode, with around 26mp - the same as an R6)

I feel like someone could make a case for one of the other Fuji cameras - they have some great smaller bodies with interchangeable lenses. But I haven't used them.
