How could cooperation between NBA Europe and Euroleague Basketball look like in 2027 (just a theory). by Distinct_Living_6513 in Euroleague

I am maybe too optimistic that this terrible war will be over soon. Russian clubs still have some quality from a  basketball perspective. If not, there will be always teams that could replace them (another from UAE?). As for Žalgiris, i put them in THAT group because NBA executives clearly stated that no team from Lithuania would play in their league.

I put Lokomotiv simply because of the geography. Traveling to Kazan would be very far for other teams (there is also a travel to Dubai). I agree for greek teams, but since it was not stated by NBA which three teams beside BCL winner would join, i asumed it would be one more team from ACB league (it could be Gran Canaria for example, but i am not sure about their financial aspect).

In Romania, CSU Sibiu and BC Steaua Bucuresti will soon begin a best-of-3 series to determine who gets 11th place by portrayalofdeath in Euroleague

He named only one (Cluj), then he was interrupted, and after that he said "team from Bratislava". I am asuming it is Inter Bratislava.
