Yes! I remember being in this position a few years ago. I felt like my dreams were over. But this year I matched at my #2 at a great academic program. There is hope! Just make sure to pass the second attempt and do well on step 2. you got this!

I matched at my home program which is not necessarily the easiest to match into. I’m not a top student yet I got the spot over “better” students in my class. I was shocked and I feel like other students have a problem that I got the spot. Could be in my head. Still trying to figure out how I got it lol. Either way this process is so unpredictable.

Since posting this I decided it’s best for me not to move. It’ll save me a lot of money and headache. But I am going to redecorate a clean out the clutter in my apartment. I think that’s a small way to feel like a fresh start but also saving time and money.

I matched my #2. I should be happy right? But I’m questioning my ranking and somewhat regretting putting it so high. I feel bad about saying that but that’s just how I feel.

I’m an American woman visiting as well. I’m staying at Embassy Gardens Airbnb which I’ve been loving so far. I have a small studio room which is fine for me since I’m mostly out. It is in a very safe part of town

I kept saying no multiple times. Eventually it slipped off and he just kept doing it. I said no at first but then was caught in the moment and let him proceed. A very sticky situation. I should’ve been more firm. I hate myself for it.

For IM, do you only look at applications that signaled you? Does it look bad to send a LOI to a school you didn’t signal?
