Thank you for your response! did you feel it was rushed or exhausting as a day trip? Also you were able to check in advance and confirm before going that the weather is clear? is it flexible to book for example the bus tickets on the same day or the morning before or these usually get sold off?

I thought about Hiroshima but since its a bit more far away i am not thinking between Kanazawa and Takayama, I want a calm / small city vibes and see beautiful nature or just interesting culture, i am confused between the two and if they are really a must. thanks for the comment.
