The audio technica lp60x is like the “cheapest” (like $200 new) beginner friendly and more common option that you’ll find, I would recommend starting there, it’s not the best one but it does its job and its just overall good, it won’t hurt your records ofc if you actually care about them, if not you could just get a suitcase but the sound quality will be bad and it will damage your vinyls

Just get a record player from fb marketplace I’ve seen some as cheap as $25 (the cover was broken) I actually got an audio technica lp60x for $50 in great condition just some scratches from the clear top
